Closest Casinos to Pittsburgh offering poker would be Wheeling Island or Mountaineer. Now i'm not sure of any Indian Casinos close by, I think theres one up in New York but it isn't close. Your only other option i can think of would be Niagra Falls but unless you have a passport, it isn't a very feasible option.

In New York up by Jamestown I think it's called Senaca Alleghany. Try to use a search engine.

Seneca Allegany will let you play at 18 since their poker room does not serve alcohol.

It's in Salamanca, NY, about four hours of interstate driving from Pittsburgh.

They're no longer located in the casino proper, but they are still open and claim to be remaining so. Poker is now played in a new building down the road from the casino and all its restaurants, down by the Holiday Inn Express. I think bingo is in the same building.

I can't imagine how much traffic they'll lose as a result of this--and they didn't have that much to start with--but they claim to have been paying a ton in rent to the casino for their operating space, and this move will surely cut that figure dramatically.

I know plenty of people from Northern Ohio that took overnight trips to Salamanca for poker. It is a nice casino/hotel - good place to take the wife - she can spa while you play cards.

With the poker room off site, I honestly think they just lost a TON of traffic. No way I'll take that trip now.

Mountaineer is the closest casino to Pittsburgh. Wheeling Island is about 20 miles further down the road.

If they don't serve alcohol in their poker room, then that's new within the past two years. Are you sure about this?

Oh, reading further - I see that they have relocated their room! I guess that everything has changed, and my info is old.

It really depends on where you live in Pittsburgh. For most of Pittsburgh, they are essentially equidistant in terms of driving time. Maps can be deceptive, owing to the lack of highways leading to Mountaineer.

Because you could have went on Google and found it out much faster? It's better to not be lazy and do things for yourself.
