I played the Potawatomi 3/5 game for the first time Saturday night and was happy I made the trip out. I met a couple regulars and the game looks like it will be profitable to anyone who can fold top pair. Couple questions... when are the best times to play and does potawatomi offer 5/10 or 10/20nl?

P.S. Is it me or are there a lot of shady looking characters at that place... I thought AC was bad but the regs there look like wall street guys compared to poto.

I dont play there all that often, but if you go on weekends there are usually higher NL games going. It kinda depends who is in town etc. I would call ahead in the future and see what is running. You can reserve a seat 2 hours ahead of time.

Everyone at Potow is super shady though. I pretty much assume everyone there sells drugs or makes porn in their basement. Based on the way some people look they couldnt hold a steady job at McDonalds, must less be afford to drop hundreds per session at 3/5.

Part of the reason I don't play there as much is that the staff their sucks balls and there is huge favoritism towards the regulars. I've had my name skipped over for regulars many a time.

i played there one time- after a show for about 2 hours and turned 200 into a 1000. 3/5 nl game. soft as hell. guy to the right of me raises to 100 pre flop, i look down at pocket queens, say make it two hundred. he pushes for another 175. he was drunk and on tilt. another guy wants to bet 75 dollars with 2 diamonds out there meanwhile i'm holding top pair and a king high flush draw. i'm all in for pretty much my buy in. he says 'enough' and folds.. (!) i think there were 10 players at the table tho - i prefer nine. and i had to sit and spank it at the 2-4 limit game till a seat opened up. i'm glad it did.
