Re: Poker Pet Peeves

Players who turn over their hole cards one at a time, when they know damn well they need to show both to win. Also including the ones who flip over one card and then fold. A completely unnecessary waste of time.

Re: Poker Pet Peeves

-"Wow your aces held up, I never win when I get aces"

-People who sit at 1/2 tables with $16.. Call a $12 raise, then fold if they miss the flop.

-People who ask for a deck wash, altho I don't get upset at this anymore since only the biggest of fish do this.

-When someone goes all in, I call them, and they dont turn their hand up until after the river... **** OFF!!!!!

-Obese people that take up 2 seats and get mad whenever you keep bumping them with ur leg or ask them to move over a bit

-People who continuously open the pot for 15x the BB

-People who get really mad when I raise their blinds every orbit "Why do you keep raising me, some of us are trying to play poker here!"

Re: Poker Pet Peeves

People who insist on standing the button on edge for dealer target practice.

People who can't grasp the concept of when to post their blinds even after 40 orbits.

The same people who can't remember how much each blind is after the same 40 orbits.

People who blame the dealers when they lose a hand.

People who hit a 3 outter or less for a miracle win then complain about bad luck a few hands later when they miss a draw.

Re: Poker Pet Peeves

A guy i played with firmly believed and preached that the auto shuffler just picked a seat every day and stacked the deck for that seat and you either get lucky enough to pick that seat when the table opens or you lose all your money that day. He was not joking. I cannot emphasize this enough. He was as serious as i have ever seen.

Washing the deck isn't an issue. It takes a few extra seconds. Deck changes can take a while. I had a dealer talk me out of a deck change once. I had an ace which had marks on it. She asked why I wanted the deck changed, so I told her. She explained it was from the automatic shuffler, wiped the card off, told me that deck changes can take a while, and asked if I still wanted one. As long as the card was clean, I had no issues.

Re: Live poker pet peeves.

Players that repeatedly fold out of turn when there is a button straddle even after the dealer has clearly announced the straddle prior to dealing the cards. It is scary to think that these same people are driving the roads.

People who call a player down on the river, get shown the nuts, and stare at the board wistfully for 5 minutes before mucking their bottom pair.

Guys who talk through multiway hands and educate the fish on the board, scaring off my action when I have the nuts.

Old rungood douche who thought it was fine to bounce his lucky golf ball on the felt, even after politely asked to stop.

Re: Live poker pet peeves.

Dealers that cut the cards with 2 hands(rare but one dealer I know does it EVERY time)

Players and/or dealers that say "Good Luck All In" anytime someone gets all in on cash or tourney.

Dealers that beg for tips by saying "Nice hand", "Well Played", "Good Pot", Etc.

Players that have horrific breath that won't keep there mouth shut sitting right next to you and you have to take breaths from the sleeve of your shirt.

Players making it $5 straight on 1/2nl, especially from the blinds.

Dealers not enforcing common rules such as making players post when moving across 3 or more players.

Dealers flat out not knowing some rules such as player moving out of blinds has to post only the BB not BB and SB.

Dealers that sweat the turn or river card themselves after AI's and all action complete by holding the card up and looking at it before places it on the table, instead of burning and turning the proper way.

Dealers that makes comments about the texture of the board, or at show down, say "who has a club". Or when AI on flop and cards exposed Dealer tries to figure out the outs and call them out.

Dealers that waste our time by figuring out the rake on our time instead of burning and turning and then figuring the rake while players are betting like they are supposed to.

Thats just a few, Im sure I could come up with 100 if I really wanted to. lol

Lol'd so hard. Mine are people eating sloppily, b.o., bad breath, silent farts, people who must be reminded to post every single orbit, people that don't tip the dealer, people who don't wash their hands in the bathroom, people who take forever to showdown, and not enough hot loose passive chicks with lots of money's.

Awesome, concise list. Well-stated. The mini-speech followed by the shove is a great staple of The Nuts Guy. I'd like to hire Casey Anthony to take out Hoodie + Sunglasses guy, these people make me want to vomit.

I say eating in general at the table. ****ing A. Touching the food that goes into your mouth, after handling those chips that you took from the guy next to me who coughed in his ****ing hands. No, wait, ****ing hacked into his hands and wipes it on his jeans.

Tipping... Ah. I will tip, but only for a certain pot size. Considering they're already taking my money with the rake and BBJ.

I always call those people out. It's ****ing disgusting.. We don't know if you're leaking down there, shiiiiiiit.

Sorry about forgetting the SB and BB. I'm HORRIBLE at that and tell the dealer once he has to remind me; They get a chuckle out of it as I tell them I'm super bad at remembering the blinds, "especially in seat 1" and we end up laughing at my expense.

Gotta love Hollywood's.

Not so much a peeve, but some cougar thought that I was staring at her cleavage when it was her turn to act. Come on.. You're playing poker and I like to watch the action, get reads on you..etc. Don't wear such a revealing shirt next time, although I would probably just get accused of staring at the boobies.

This.

Also when someone folds 37 and the flop comes 377 and they say "omg I would have flopped a full house!" either verballly or they jump around in their seat etc.

+1 also to the fish who think because they hit like 5 outs on the river that they outplayed you and "knew you had that hand" even though they called off their stack behind

You Give me 1 legitimate reason as to why i shouldn't be doing this and i will stop. UNTIL THEN STFU! (also if i am not in the hand then i don't ask. i only do this if i am heads up and some play was made.)

Pet Peeve #2 I called you and made it clear that you need to flip your hand over. Quit wasting my time.

Pet Peeve #3 people who Pull Doug Lees and say they have Flushes when they don't hoping the other Person will muck and they might win the hand. Die!

Pet Peeve #4 AT showdown People who have hands that are beat, winner shows his hands (maybe its the nuts) and the other players take forever to muck their hand. Hurry up!

People who have to pee on the toilet seat when the Urinals are open! Come on man i been grinding all day!

Some Fish/Landmine that keeps sucking out on you and Giving your money to everyone else that sucks. Only to see all your money walk off the table.

Mr. Bad Beat. I know you haven't won a pot since 2007. I just don't care.

The Internet Whiz-kid. STFU! I'm not impressed, and neither are the fish.

This is even more annoying when this person is both a fish and a hypersensitive douche. Such a fine line to tread...do you tell him to deal correctly and risk offending him? (Yes I know someone like this.)

Re: Live poker pet peeves.

People placing there call or bet on top of the button is much more tilting.

Also people that use the button as a card protector.

Dealers that place the button exactly in between players so you can't tell who has the button during a hand.
