Does anyone know where there is live PLO action on a daily basis in the United States?

Detroit .. MCC all day every day ... MGM mainly late afternoon to 300 AM.

Hammond, IN ... Pretty much all the time but the size of the game varies

Yes, Bravo is your friend ...

PLO is growing .. heard great things about FL right now but some games are hard to get a seat due to the casino 'protecting' regs .. GL

There is a phone app called Bravo Poker Live. Lots of card rooms around the country use it to display what games are currently running, how many are on the list, and other information about the room. You can also access it through their website

Ok .. I 'heard' through a player that left Florida that a player we both know that is still in Florida has to jump hoops to get into a higher stake PLO game, possibly in Tampa.

It's like the list opens at 3 AM for a 9 AM game but the list has some 'automatic' names that go on it. So you have to be in the casino at like 3 AM and hope there is a seat open and then figure out what to do with your time before the game starts. Apparently the 'auto' names don't have to be there when the list opens but others do have to physically be in the casino to sign up. The person we know has had some respectable sessions (+$10K or more) but hadn't quite figured out how to become a reg for that game.

This is a 2nd hand story from what I would consider a reliable but reluctant source, so some of the details might be incomplete. Sorry to stir a pot unnecessarily. GL

Cleveland, OH and Cincinnati, OH have PLO at their respective casinos every day

Most decent to large sized rooms offer at least a single table of PLO at low stakes and some often have more than one running. Now PLO is still very secondary to NLH in all rooms that I have ever heard of , but a player should be able to find a game fairly easily in those venues. Bravo Poker is an excellent source.

it is growing. 5 years ago it barely ran anywhere outside of wsop and now it runs in lots of casinos daily. in some places 4-6 tables of it.

Foxwoods 2/5PLO runs every weekend, and (almost) every weekday, usually starts between 11 AM - 1 PM. Often 2 tables. Occasional 1/2PLO, 1/2PLO8, 5/5, or 5/10 PLO games.
National Harbor, Maryland Live also have regular PLO games.
Check out on Bravo.

Certainly has gained some real traction in many places. Of course the main difficulty with growing PLO is how quickly it can and does wipe out beginners and discourage them. Still it is here to stay IMHO and that's good.

PLO is bound to grow slowly, as NL in many forms is dying. When you get 8 players at a live NL table that are all VPIP 20% or lower, it's about as boring as watching paint dry. It takes 10 minutes for the fish (unless they are there to grind promos like in many of the Vegas rooms nowadays) to figure out this isn't fun at all.

I've been at a live PLO table where almost everyone seemed to be VPIP 20% or lower. (I probably play at around VPIP 20%.)

Until everyone learns to play correctly. Although considering no one play correctly pre at holdem at low stakes I imagine this will only be a problem at high stakes.
