LOL - you can't gamble in the US as a teenager. Which is probably a good thing as many teens are not capable of forming logical, coherent thoughts/questions/posts before 21.

This is incorrect. There are some Indian casinos in the US that allow an 18 year old to play. The state I live in doesn't have casinos, but allows poker charity rooms where an 18 year old can play.

There is no legal poker anywhere in NYC, no matter your age. The closest legal poker is at Sands or Parx (PA), Atlantic City (NJ), or Foxwoods (CT).

In about 5-10 years things may be different.
