First I never alluded to a robbery being staged..... or at least that was not my intent. That is ridiculously over the top. Why stage a robbery when you can simply say it happened instead.
Nor did I say this particular robbery was fake or staged. What I said was that you should have some skepticism.
So while I would not blame a rape victim .... that does not mean that one should also not be skeptical of claims of rape or any other crime. people who equate being skeptical and asking questions with blaming rape victims are not thinking rationally. They are responding emotionally. The result of this has been some pretty nasty consequences for people who have been falsely accused......
