Stack size. There were a lot of stacks that were $1000+, many more than you'd see in a 2/5 game with a $500 cap.

No lie. The 2/5 game Saturday night saw a maniac reg run his stack up to $9k. Completely insane action.

These charitable games don't get enough play IMO. I was in town Wednesday and played PLO high/high-low rotation. Good amount of money on the table for a 1/2 game with a $5 bring in. Not a lot of aggression either. I played 5 hours and there was one 3-bet pre. Ended up making 3k, and while I'm good at PLO high, I hardly ever play high/low.

Heh, I may have been there.
The game can vary wildly. Some days you don't get a single 3 bet, other days, every other hand is an all-in bingofest.

If you ever go to the Chicago Charitable games that are usually more on the southside, those tend to be much more aggressive - especially preflop.

I was the guy with dark but graying hair and a beard. Won a huge pot near the end of the night in PLO 8 in a protected main pot when I scooped a huge side pot with A5 low and rivered nut flush after calling a big turn bet from what was likely the nut straight without much of a low.

That's the way to do it in PLO8. Suited ace is good for scooping.
If it was this past Wednesday, I wasn't there, but I'm typically there on Wednesdays.

My son's baseball team wants to host a poker event at their facility to help with fundraising.

Does any know any charitable organizations like, CGC or anyone that provides dealers and poker supplies?

Any help will be much appreciated.
