Do any Las Vegas casinos offer rakeback after a certain amount of hours are played? Also, are there any daily food vouchers given? Thanks.

Sorry, I'm going through Bravo now and can see for myself, but feel free to offer any suggestions.

No. and there is no such thing as live rakeback for the simple reason that there is no tracking of the amount of rake you have paid.

However there are promotions where the jackpot drop is used to pay people cash for sitting in the games for periods of time. I know that in vegas there have been some rooms that ran such promotions I do not know if anyone does so now .... but TI did in the past.

Yeah, I don't know why I said rakeback... I'm looking into the TI promo which has been running for a few years and I'm wondering why more people don't play there? Even if better competition eats 50% of your hourly away, it's still $10/hour garunteed money. Which at 1/2 stakes I think would be a significant factor in driving more traffic there. I've read through a few opinions on this in other threads, but am hoping someone else could tell me why more people don't play there??? Thanks

Per Bravo, CET strip properties are currently doing free buffets for 3 hours of play. Not sure what the restrictions are, though.

That buffet promotio is the nuts.

Other than that, look for the best rakeback if you like playing with old retired nits who are playing just for the promotions. These games are rarely worth the promotion unless you want to just be one of those nits.

First its a small room with few games. This means if you go play there you have no table selection options, and may have to spend time waiting around for a game to start. Second the promotion is funded by player money. I think they take $2 per hand for the Jackpot drop so thats an expense to you. And its not coming back to casual players so there is no draw to get in casual players who pay the Jackpot drop but don't play enough hours to get anything back. In order to get the maximum amount of $ per hour you have to play a lot of hours. Its not easy to put all that time in .... quite honestly if you are looking for $10/hr guaranteed your probably better off getting a job then playing 60 hours a week at TI.

I've never met the 60 hrs at TI cause the games during the week are ok but not great, but I've put in 30 there on the weekends because for a small room, the 1/3 game is really good on the weekends. It's definitely worth taking a look at the room if you're looking to make a couple hundred just for playing in the room. Also the TI is still doing $2 per hours for comps.

I haven't played there during that promo in a couple of years, but IIRC, they actually take (took) $3/hand to fund the promo. So if you win 3 hands/hr., you're basically funding it yourself.

They take $3/hand just for the promo, not the bad beat Jack pot?

I just called and they said $1 at $10 and $2 at $30 max. They don't have a bad vbeat jackpot drop and the rake is 10% up to $4 (I think avg rake is 10% to $5) Unless I'm figuring wrong, your probably paying maybe at most an extra 1.50 an hour for the promo and most casinos give you less than the $2 in comps/hour. If I'm missing something, someone please let me know.

If you are in Vegas and your spending 60 hours a week in the T.I. Poker room, you fail at life.

Work on your game, become a real poker player, and you'll realize promotions are never more than a secondary consideration.

Was at south point over the summer; they had a hours promotion into a weekly or biweekly free roll for a fair sum.
