best $1-2 NL game in vegas?

would like peoples opinions of where the best 1-2 nl games are in vegas. id imagine this is highly bankroll dependent. for instance if u've got a large roll, ($4000 and up) try the golden nugget (no max buyin) or the hard rock where u can straddle on the button. however if ur rolls that high, u should be playing $2-5 instead shouldnt u?

mid size rolls might like ceasers and venetians $100 NL 1-2 simply cause theres a massuese on duty. ($2500-4000 rolls)

Small rolls of $1500 or less like me try osheas, hooters (nice employees although high rakes shorthanded) santa fe, etc and other places where the buyins much less than $100.

Highly underrated topic that doesn't get enough discussion IMO.

[OK, I'll be more constructive. Could the mods change the subject line to "OFFICIAL BEST $1-2 NL IN VEGAS THREAD" and then merge all further discussion on the topic into this one thread?]

why is this thread so empty when the one for AC is so full? and if the mods followed the above suggestion, please post the link here.

And the choices are...

1. Because you created it just a few hours ago.
2. Because there are already dozens of threads on this very topic.
3. Because people are flabbergasted that you have 800+ posts and haven't seen dozens of these threads and fainted and therefore unable to respond.
4. Because people are flabbergasted that you have 800+ posts and are unable to use the search function and fainted and therefore unable to respond.
5. People are busy watching college football.
6. People are busy playing poker against drunks.
7. People are busy drinking. (and passing out and therefore unable to respond.
8. All of the above.

Hint, try the search function.

Ill post a real reply because I am bored.

There is no so such thing as a best 1/2 game. It always depends on your table and if its full of fish and specifically how bad they are. If it is not get up walk 5 minutes to the next casino over and play there, if after doing this 2 or 3 times you still cannot find a fish filled table, you are the fish.

This applies to all 1/2 games everywhere, everywhere there is fish, sometimes you land a table with tight regulars, if do move to one where the drunks are.

the idea of reading other peoples threads dont appeal to me near as much as my own, besides the info in them might be outta date now, and no longer true. i notice u guys didnt all tell the guy in ac with the same thread to use search.

besides no one commented on my suggestions about casinos, (their opinions--if they agree) nor explained why a guy would rather deepstack 1-2 with $300 than play $2-5 with it where theyd have a better shot and winning good money.

agreed, but i think the point of the topic is where if the first place you should look for one.

my take-- Wynn, by far. Uncapped buy-in can get ALOT of dead money in play and the location of the casino gets lots of people who have no busy being in a casino at the table.

2 reasons for me NOT to play there though. 1. my rolls only about 33% of what it should be to play $1-3 no max. 2. i cannot stand using $3 chips, instead of $1 and $5 chips. need a better suggestion.

also i wish i knew where to find broke railbirds here in vegas also (for moral support), id buy them in the $20 min buyin NL game at bills if i won.

Why does it matter whether the game is uncapped or not? Just buy in for what you would in a cap game and your effective stack will be the same as that of someone buying in for $5k.

Great point!

In fact, I'm going to stop reading your threads because it's just a waste of time I could be using to post my own. Everyone, let's stop reading boring threads started by others and just post our own threads!

This site could be a wonderful resource if we each just use it for self-expression and don't waste time interacting with other people.

(Do you see how absurd it is to say that you only post threads because you don't like reading other people's, and then complain that other people won't give you an answer? Hypocrite, much?)

Then bump them up and ask if anything's changed. How is that any different, except that it's much better organized (for one thing, you don't have to rehash the previous conversation in a new place) and less wasteful of space and presumptuous of other people's time?

That thread was only about the second most tedious thread topic on this forum, not the single most tedious thread topic on this forum.

However, since you mentioned it, good point.
