Some places they will give you a card and you're supposed to fill it out for next time. This is still a stupid method though, as it's wasteful and not even the quickest way. Just type in your phone number. If it's an out of town store you won't go to again, just tell them that and most will scan a card they have handy so you can get the discounts.

i always ask new players about players cards. i even do a little joke about, "let me tell you about all our fantastic promos" if they say no. I also make sure regulars are in the system. I love my job. i have only been dealing for about 10 months. everyone says i will hate the job in the future, but i still love it as of now.

dealers with attitudes is just as bad as players with attitudes and incompetent flooring

I guess all the cards are active. They just hand me a new one with the application, and immediately start using it.

Like I said, this is for a store I go to occasionally, like maybe once every three months.
