I need to get some of these Apps on my Droid, would be clearer / nicer on a Tablet but not sure if you can have those at the table, depending on where you are..

+1 to PokerJournal for the iPhone. It is really nice and easy to use.

Ah that sucks, well the iPhone 4 has the best battery life of any iPhone and pretty much all 4g phones die in a couple hours. I wonder if the 4g iPhone will have those same issues. I keep trying to go buy a new phone but I have a losing session and decide to not spend any money lol, its dumb.

I use this...you can have some basic filters, organize by room or limits, has a little graph.

This is what I use as well. It does what I need it to do, though I do recommend backing up your database from time to time with it. I lost about two months of play time when something crashed

I also use Poker Journal and Poker Cruncher and love them. I recently installed Dragon dictation for the Iphone. It's free so you can play around with it but it is voice recognition that turns your dictation into text that you can paste into any app (suche as the session notes in poker journal) instead of typing.

Seemed like it might be cool for expanded note taking away from the table.

I use Poker Journal, and I chose it over Poker Income Pro because of what I read over the forums. It's pretty decent, however, my friend showed me Poker Income Pro, and it seemed to have some of the features that were missing from PJ.

In PJ, it seems to me that it doesn't add up the monthly totals, and only does a running total. Maybe I'm missing something, but it took me awhile to figure out how to manually set the filters to be able to do monthly totals, where as PIP seems to do it automaically. And then I deleted the filters, which took me awhile to figure out.

Clearly I'm just not very technologically inclined. Maybe I just gotta play around with it a little bit more. Or does anyone know if there's some way to set it up to always log monthlies? Or is there something I can simply click that I haven't discovered?

i use poker life line i think it was like $5 in the app store, its solid databases everything and it can run a ton of reports (win/rate, hourly, all this other crap i dont touch)

Not automatically. But you can manually.

anyone know if taking audio notes with the DRAGON app during a hand is allowed?

Pretty sure it varies from casino to casino. I know that where I play (Rivers in Pittsburgh) you're technically not allowed to use your phone or any device that connects to the internet at the table. I think it would be fine to get up from your seat, step back from the table, and do that while you're not involved in a hand though I'm not 100% positive.

Edit: In the description for Poker Life Line it says that it's compatible with StatKing but when I search BB Ap World for an Ap called StatKing it doesn't show up.

Try "Poker Agent" for android. I believe it has everything you mentioned.

Statking is a program for your PC. I bought my copy years ago from twoplustwo before they had a store. It appears to be available from professionalpoker.com look under software.

I use Poker Journal and I think it's worth every dollar. I just look at it this way - it costs less than a straddle!

I have Pokerincome & Poker Journal and to be honest loved Pokerincome setup much better but last 3 updates have deleted my entire journal (thank god for paper back up). I have contacted the developer but no response so I think I will be using pokerIncome from now on.. Anyone else have same issues with the most recent July 23rd update to the Pro version?

Side note... I work in IT and use my iPad & iPhone 4 at the table and utilize it all on breaks or at times during tournaments for note taking... I am tech savy to where I won't delay or hurt my game play by the added tool but its sad that there isn't more tools out there with as many iPad's as I see at the table..
