Also, I don't think having to post is going to affect a players decision the change tables all that much. If they want to do it to go south or whatever, posting a bb isn't going to slow them down.

Now but having to post stops the player who is table changing to avoid the blinds.......

maybe, but if it's utg+2 or so, then it's going to be ~5 minutes or so before they'll be able to take that seat, and while they're hovering, there's a good chance the floor will send somebody else over to fill it. Plus I don't think many people are actually going to try and angle it that way. How many people actually abuse the not posting system by changing tables 100 times a day? none I that I know, I can't see this being a lot different

Probably none abuse it by changing tables 100 times a day. But its not just people who only move to avoid the blinds. Lots of people who want to move for other purposes will wait till they have played as many free hands as possible before moving and then sit out untiul they can maximize the number of free hands at the new table.

They were still going to move..... but now they time it differently.

Re: To post or not to post?

When we join a table we can pay big blind to see a hand no matter what position we come in at. OR we can wait until it's our big blind and then pay it then. I generally opt to wait until i'm in the big blind unless I come in at the cut-off.
