1/2 no limit. Villain 1 is OMC, on the grumpier side. Constantly bemoaning his bad luck (see grumpy old man thread). Starts the hand with around $130. V2 is MAWG, stated earlier he came to "get drunk and play some cards!". As an interesting side note, he seems to play tighter the drunker he gets?! Sitting with around $200
I am not 100% certain of bet sizes but that is not the discussion point here.
5 ways to the flop with a raise of $8. V1 is in he BB, V2 is OTB.
Flop (40) 5
8
J
V1 bets $15 V2 calls, all others fold.
Turn (70) Q
V1 bets $30, V2 ships (about 170)
Here is where it gets interesting. V1 goes into the tank. After about 2 minutes tipsy V2 asks V1 "do you have a flush draw?" V2 says no. V1 then asks V2, "do you have a straight?" V2 thinks for a second or two and says "no I dont have a straight."
V1 then calls with a set of Jacks. The river bricks out and V2 shows the 9T for the straight.
V1 gets very upset, calls V2 a liar and said he was way out of line. He kept telling him in that situation you should say nothing yada yada yada. He also said he was gentleman and would never do such a thing and yada yada yada.
I thought the whole thing was pretty funny. I have played a pretty good amount of live poker and have never seen someone get mad for being lied to about a hand. I think its somewhat lol to ask anyway, especially at the 1/2 level. I just wondered if you all have seen this and if you think V2 (or V1) was out of line in any way.
