Let us believe, my brothers and sisters.

Let us spread the word to all people, near and far.

Let us acknowledge the truth, and the truth shall set us free.

Give us your low one- and two- gappers.

Give us your suited cards of any rank lower than an eight.

Give us your disadvantaged but ambitious small and big blinds of Any Two Cards.

For in truth, all hands are equal before the poker deities.

And if they be suited or unsuited, they are still all equal to the Elite Unpaired.

Let us invoke the doctrine of pot odds and yea, though the equal walk through the valley of domination, let us champion the spirit, the ambition, and the value of all against the privilege of the elite of the combinations.

For surely the meek shall inherit the pot.

One of my friends used to say:
"Before the flop, all hands are equal."

Still agree a donk move. But he basically called their hands. Maybe he can see their cards. Honestly calling the first retakes would have been +ev if I here was not a re re raise to follow. After a that it just gets stupid.

Maybe he's really a PLO Player ... where this thought process has a much better merit. You still have to be ready to flip for lots of BB in the process.

I'll take 5678xy v AAxx v AAxx 'all the time' in PLO, eh? GL

Image is everything. If anything I’m trying to figure out how to get less action lmao. Being a middle aged black man people always assume I’m stealing. I don’t always have it and am handicapped if there always gonna call my bluffs

Oh yeah, I don't know why but anecdotally I've seen a lot of black guys make the game real personal like they treat folding as shameful so yeah I'm calling much lighter and bluffing far less against them.

Definitely a huge exploit for you to play as a nit while spewing a few tiny pots here or there to maintain the "real men always bluff and never fold" rep

Good advice. I’ll try to make it look personal when I lose a hand so I can get even more action lol. It doesn’t matter how chill I am, the image is too strong and people will always call me down so I might as well go with it. Now I just need to catch some cards to spring out of this downswing.
