The regular game at Ho-Chunk is a fairly nitty, passive game. Lots of regulars. Very beatable with a good agro play. Some summer weekends will have a mix of people dropping money. However, most are not fathers but the occasional bachelor party.
The rake is $4 + $1 for bad beat.
Tables play slow as mentioned before as it is all hand dealt.
Fridays there is a 5-5 PL omaha/hi low round by round. Also, the past 3 Fridays there has been a 2-5 NL game.
If you are a good player, the game can be beat for a good win rate. But it is not 2005 anymore, players are just not coming in clueless dropping $1k at a pop.
