Two other questions if you'd be so kind.

What seat was the winner sitting in?

How long were you at the table and do you happen to know if any of the other winners were at the table for a very long time? I'm curious to know if any of the very nice people who were at the table with me when I left at midnight (six hours before it was hit) were still there.

The winner was in the bb, loser in the sb

I was at the table for a few hours, from about 2-6. Ironically, I was talking to the kid that won while he was playing at the 1/2 NL table. I made the move about an hour after he did. How sick is that?

Lastly, I'm not too sure who played at the table for long, but there was another kid with his girlfriend, with blonde spiked up hair and a tuxedo vest. Not sure how long he was playing.

Still don't know how I feel about Bally's paying out the whole room.
Guess it's great if you're just in the room, but what a let down if you're actually at the table where it hits.

Taj @ 260k. I assume that's the largest right now.

Can anyone confirm the rumors that Ballys is uping the BBJ requirement after the next time it hits? It is the largest now that I am aware of in Atlantic City at 193K I think.

I like the concept, and I believe it has helped keep Bally's poker room in business. Otherwise, I believe it would have ended up going the way of Hilton and Resorts. People go there because they believe could actually walk away with something. Odds of being at a BBJ hit table are slim, but the odds of being in the same room when a BBJ hits are better.

This concept would totally fail from a logistics standpoint in a larger room, such as Borgata or Trump Taj. However, I believe these smaller 20-table rooms would benefit from having a room-shared BBJ jackpot. If I ran Harrah's, I would have definately done this at Showboat by now, and eventually at Caesars and Harrah's.
