Re: The Breakroom: low-content gaming employee chatter thread

I am scheduled 40 hours per week, I think I have to maintain 20 hours per week on average to maintain my full time benefits. I normally work close to 75 hours per two week pay period.

Re: The Breakroom: low-content gaming employee chatter thread

Just a minor example of how incredibly selfish people at poker tables can be...

Last hand before the break, button open shoves, SB is tanking... BB folds out of turn. Okay, whatever, he's going to run to the bathroom or something, right? No, he's going to stick around to make sure I do a proper color-up for his four green chips.

Good job, dude.

At our place FT is scheduled 40 hours, but need to average 30 hours a week over a quarter. But If i understand correctly if they fail to do that one quarter its ok as long as they don't fail to do it for two consecutive quarters.

I would have a dead spread if the game was full to give the guests some place to sit and feel welcome.

Okay, thinly veiled brag...I've worked in my casino for 6 years and never worked graveyard.

I have left at 2:45 in the morning after dealing a final table during our big annual tournament but that really doesn't count.

I did mostly grave my first couple years bouncing around Vegas. I physically can't do it anymore, the stunted sleep pattern destroys me.

Do you have a higher percentage of regulars on grave? (in non Vegas casinos) My guess is yes...

I guess 37+ years in Alaska works in my favor. I have no problem sleeping in daylight!

Grave is my preference. But maybe not if I was in Oklahoma
