Re: BravoPokerLive for Android/iPhone

The information is better than the app though since it shows waitlist and interest list. Hope we get this feature added into BravoPokerLive. Seems like the logical next step for this app.

Yes. But having one app which lists ALL the poker rooms in Vegas would be wunnerful. The rooms can still offer their own private version, if they wish. Just because you have a web page which lists games doesn't mean you can't let Bravo use the info as well.

Which is not to say the Bravo app couldn't use some help.

Gimme a way to list ALL the available games within an N-mile radius, please, sorted by game. Like, pop up a list of NL1/2 games, NL2/5 games, 2/4, 3/6, 4/8, 8/16, 3/6 Mixed, 8/16 Mixed, 1/2 PLO, etc. Then I can click on the game I'm looking for and find out where in Vegas it is. If I want to find a mixed game or a horse game today, I have to pop open the list for every flippin' casino that ever gets such a game. And then I'll still miss it when some place that normally doesn't offer a particular game gets one going.

And tell me how many total players are clocked in at each type of game. This doesn't matter when there are 8 games going, but if I see there is 1 game going at Caesars at 6am I'd like to know if that game has 3 players or 9 before jumping in the car.

Wait lists would also be nice.

Just use the search feature to put what games you are looking for and it automatically comes up by distance.

Re: BravoPokerLive for Android/iPhone

I haven't seen this app work but I'm familiar with the Bravo system. To what extent does this app post info? Does it just list games playing? Does it list waiting lists and # of players waiting?

Does it list players names, playing or waiting? It'd be cool to see what regs are seated but then again there's times I wouldn't want to be tracked down by my wife or whomever so maybe that's a bad feature.

Re: BravoPokerLive for Android/iPhone

It does not show waiting lists or how many players at each table it just shows how many games of each limit are going, straight from the bravo system.

There is a website you can view the info posted somewhere ITT.

Uninstalled until they get rooms that matter to me on the app...good idea though.

You should go bug the rooms you play in to get listed. The poker rooms themselves have to initiate the contact.

Bravo Poker Live App

This app is extremely interesting in giving the real status of poker in the rooms covered.

Some observations:

-Foxwoods rules over Borgata in the East in terms of actual tables in play.
-Most of the larger Vegas rooms are not covered - it would be very interesting to see actual tables in play.
-4/8 limit seems to be alive and well at Commerce and dead everywhere else.

Adding wait list to this app would make it amazing.

works well but needs fixes:

1. You cannot search simply for all "omaha" games, you must pick from the list.. which has right now:
OMAHA 1/2 KILL
OMAHA H/L
OMAHA H/L W/KILL
OMAHA/8 1/2 KILL

2. The tourney search only works if you pick "all limits". Searching for anything else "$200 or less" simply returns an error when doing the search.

3. It only allows searching within 5000 miles. Should allow a lesser value, or to enter a state. So unless I can put in a zip code in london, I cannot limit it to each coast. I can put in Hawaii but it still sees Pennsylvania.

Still it is VERY helpful versus calling around

too bad it doesnt show actual running tourney info, like total players, blind level, payouts, etc. that would be killer awesome

Re: BravoPokerLive for Android/iPhone

would love to see a couple features added. Being able to see interest lists with the names would be great. I'd love to be alerted when certain games open a table.

Re: BravoPokerLive for Android/iPhone

I doubt the names of people on wait lists will ever get in there - even though the rooms and Bravo could claim that users give a waiver when they get their card and use the system, there are nevertheless personal privacy issues (or the perception of them). But the number of people on various lists? No problem there and I'd be surprised if it weren't added in the future.

I don't think their is a privacy issue about the lists in as much as most places don't use more than a first name and last initial.

For sure I agree with you in fact, but privacy stuff is usually as much about perception as fact so I doubt they'd go there. Obv I could be wrong - but either way, having as much info as possible about wait lists would be great.
