Title pretty much sums it up...where are the best venues to play omaha/8 in florida (particularly south florida) thanks all!

Anyone that spreads it is going to be about the same. I haven't seen anything other than 5/10/20 where I play (Ebro; NWFL), but I'm sure down south there are bigger games.

The only game I know of in South Fl is a 4/8 game with a 1/2 kill at the Isle in Pompano. You'll find PLO high only with much bigger stakes at Hard Rock, Isle, Calder, and Mardi Gras.

Why can't we get 6/12 or 8/16 going its so frustrating!

I believe PLO8 goes in Palm Beach Kennel Club but have never have gone myself...anyone know if we should go/they still run it?

The 4/8 game is very healthy at the Isle, but for some reason it's impossible to get a higher-stakes game going. Got 10/20 going for awhile a couple of afternoons a week, but it died. Got 15/30 OE going for awhile two or three evenings a week, but it hasn't gone off in a couple of months. Any other attempt to get a 8/16 going or to revive the 10/20 fails miserably.

PLO8 still goes at the PBKC every day as far as I know. But it's near impossible to get seated unless you get there when the game starts at around 11 a.m. Players generally don't leave the table until the game breaks up at dinner time.
