- Skye (graveyard) is SICK fast.
- Diamond (Swing) one of the best, super fast, super good game control, very good demeanor...
- Jasons (both swing Jasons) both are very good, know all the regulars and make no mistakes
- Chris Gabriel (moved to swing floor supervisor) he'll be running the poker room in 10 years if he sticks around
- Carmen Bates (swing top section floor supervisor) while I'm at, I should give props to Carmen and Villajuan. They do a great job at running the top section, even when it's slammed during tournament madness.

IMHO, Mason has always said something like......

2+2 is a place where you come to talk poker, have poker debates and have a little fun (or words to that effect).

When you use the 2+2 site to slam Bellagio dealers for their looks, their old age (R_E_T_I_R_E GRAMPS), etc. .....

Is that what 2+2 is really about?

That stuff should be for rgp, NWP, etc, IMO.

Maybe I'm just too old.

:-)

Best Wishes

Howard

AAAAAAAAAACTUALLY... This thread was originally started in NVG in response to the "Top 10 players Bellagio Dealers hate...". It was mostly a view with some gossip and obviously a little flavor thrown in to make it *hilarious* to read.

As such, it's pretty legit to post this here, on 2+2. All of what was said is true; if a bit colorful.

And Howard, I don't mean any disrespect, trust me, I'm one of the BIGGEST dealer advocates and I never let them get run over by belligerent players. Even when you (assuming this is **************) make mistake after mistake, I don't let people run you over. But when you do make mistake after mistake, you can't find it unreasonable for it to be discussed in the proper forums!

Fair enough. I'm not the Howard who deals. But us Howards have to stick together :-)

I still think the OP was in bad taste but maybe I'm a prude.

Best Wishes

Howard

You may not use these forums to insult someone that will never see it. An exception is made for public figures that do not have an expectation of privacy. On the rare occasion that something is said that is negative about an individual that needs to be left in here they are contacted so they are aware they are being discussed.

Re: The Bellagio Bottom Five (dealers)

Moon is really nice and yes I think cute is the best way to describe her. She's a good dealer but she does make the occasional mistake. There are some excellent dealers at the Bellagio - I personally like Sean the best. If you ever go outside Vegas, you realize how lucky you are that even the bad dealers in Vegas are better than most outside of it.

Best dealer, Penny hands down. Experience, runs the table well and doesn't put up with crap from anybody. Also she is friendly and treats the players well. Also, that dealer from New York is pretty funny that yells at everyone in her NY accent, forget what her name is though (she works day shift). She's good if you don't take her insults personally.

Hilarious: a thread intended to spark discussion of (and humor at the expense of) the worst dealers is now hamstrung into becoming solely about the best. Heaven forfend we offend.

Seeing that this is what has happened to it, I'm almost embarrassed that I spoke out for the reopening of the thread.

Maybe someday someone will post in here on point to what TT altered the purpose of the thread to be: a situation where a player was dissatisfied with a dealer, talked to the floor about it, and the floor didn't remedy the situation within a reasonable period of time. At that point, all names are fair game.

How do you not have Janet on either of your lists? That woman runs the best table, hands down, anywhere.

Except I'll bet it wouldn't be. This is 2p2, where all genuine controversy is bad, unless it sells books or brings website traffic -- but not too much of the latter.

Re: The Bellagio Bottom Five (dealers)

What good can come of slandering dealers by name on here? Before the thread ended, 40% of the dealers woulda been listed. You expect Bellagio to fire 'em all? Send everybody listed back for remedial training? If you SERIOUSLY have issues with a dealer, document it and tell the bosses. Hiding behind the Internet's anonymity to fling around complaints does nobody any good. And while some will find serious entertainment value in it, I don't think the value of that outweighs the embarrassment and damage it could do to a lotta people.

How 'bout requiring that anybody who wants to air such grievances by name must also include their own verified name and contact info? How would that be? Any takers? And if so, why are you here bitching instead of sending the same comments to the chain of command?

Lose the bolded part and I don't see why anyone would have a problem with it.

"Hi, my name is Steve and Mike the dealer threw chips at me."

Anyone have a problem with that? Reasoning behind contact info?

Re: The Bellagio Bottom Five (dealers)

THEHANDOFGOD had to take a few days off for ignoring our previous request. With that said I really wish I read the OP more carefully earlier, I didn't realize how ridiculous the original post was. Adding complaints about dealers to a list because they are old or because their mustache is offensive is ridiculous, the OP would be tossed out of Doug's office if he went with his list of grievances because for the most part there was no meat to his complaints.
