According to our company distributed email, even KEY license holders are allowed to gamble in state.

I just cant see them changing this specific rule in th enear future. Even though it would obviously generate more revenue for the casinos.
Congrats to you PA dealers.

Wonder if this guy will be posting anything about how far his prediction of 2 to 3 years was off?

Guess the PA dealers are happy ... I agree, so much for the 3 year wait! At least the PGCB got something right for once!

What are the specifics. I am not an employee but just curious. Is it all gaming employees and can they play any game or is this just related to poker dealers and playing poker.

The signs by the timeclocks in my room speak to the slot employees... So as far as I know, anyone with a gaming license of any kind can play. Even my bosses can play. But if you are not sure, check with your supervisor or someone in HR or the gaming board itself.

I believe anyone can play any game as long as it is not in their place of employement,, with one exception I do not think slot attendant are allowed to play any slot/type games.(anywhere). I Need to revisit the proposition since I do not have I front of me right now ...but what I seem to remember how it was stated when passed....But please check w your supervisor or ask the floor where you plan the gamble ... Good Luck

I just looked over the 125-144 and 125-156 proposed rules, and no where do I see anything about current employees being able to gamble, only that previous employees only have to wait 30 days now instead of waiting until their 3-year license expires. I could be wrong though, but haven't seen/heard of any poker dealers playing anywhere but in other states (mostly Delaware Park).

I haven't looked over the legislation but I did watch the video of the board meeting in which they discussed and approved the measure. Also, our shift supervisor told us we were now okay to gamble and I have personally dealt to several dealers from other properties already. And now you can't sit in the break room without hearing a gambling story from the night before.

I have dealt to numerous in-state casino employees since the regs changed on May 25th.
