That is a really strange thing about the game: sometimes we win we played good and we feel like we're just running good, or sometimes we lose and feel like we played well and got the money in good and got sucked out on and we were actually playing bad, etc. etc. & every winning and losing scenario in between and every correct and incorrect perspective as well.

three year+ bump cuz thank you for this post. Never would have considered that a massive win could lead to depression. This helps explains my post- 2nd place score blahs. (Both score & blahs on a minor level. And wasn't bummed about not winning really, as 1st place paid only slightly more than 2nd & 3rd a lot less).

Also, post-win letdown = better explanation than "I'm gonna have a stroke!" #nojinx

Maybe if this really affects you it would be good to go Robin Hood. Give a % of profits to some worthy charitable cause. I know a guy who was like you and gave 10% of profits to a gambling addiction charity.
