Even if Scientology has the ability to eliminate tilt, you'll spend more on them then you would have tilted away at the tables.

I heard that when you tilt, Tom Cruise comes over to your table or your home and gives you a reach-around to calm you down. Hey not my thing but to each is own...

They offer you courses to make you a better man ... at higher and higher cost ... eventually they will take you for all you're worth and then some.

I met a guy proselytizing for Scientology who told me it had made him a millionaire but who knows?

Scientology seems to be a mish mash of buddhist and new age ideas which work and then a whole lot of Ron Hubbard craziness.

I do not tilt (we all tilt like we all lie but not all of us are tilters just as not all of us are liars so it is a question of degree) without the benefit (?) of scientology.

i went to a scientology service/meeting once as part of a World Religions assignment a few years ago. we sat around watching Top Gun, then Days of Thunder, then Cocktail as they put this weird device on my head that i think was meant to get my bank account information. nice people!

Anyways all religions were created by people to explain things that were unexplainable back in those days. And no one was educated back then so they all believed it. Religion became the social norm in those days and usually if you opposed religion you'd be an outkast.

Nowadays most people are educated and we have the means and ability to explain many things that occur in nature/world/outter space.

Scientology is not religon, it is brainwashing.

Please do not try scientology out, you may think you're smart enough to be immune to brainwashing but you are not. Their methods are effective, they will psychologically break you down then construct their 'support' to help you up.

Please do not consider trying Scientoology, it is brainwashing!

I watched something like 'Truth About Scientology' on Youtube and that was enough for me!

Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard is widely rumored to have said "The way to make a million dollars is to start a religion."

Oh yeah? Let's have me take a clinical personality test where you get to be privy to the results. You front the cash, I'll take the courses. We'll see how "effective" they are. We could even throw in an assortment of miscellaneous tests for measuring cognitive functions, as well.

Anybody want to set odds? We can include random crap like over/under on months I'll go "crazy" and have to be hospitalized.
