This mindset is for losers and bitches.
You're feeling sorry for yourself, and feeling sorry for oneself never helped anybody.

I tell you what I would if I had a lot of money, I would build big housing developments with swimming pools in each 4 bedroom dwelling and just give them away to whoever I bumped into the street, maybe I would raffle them off for £1 a ticket, just because I can and no other reason.
I would travel the poker circuit and play in each major event, not only that but I would find the biggest fish and stake him for life, just because I can and no other reason.

If this is your motivation for wanting a lot of money. You're leveling yourself, or this thread.
You want money for the sake of having it? That sounds like some spoiled rich child.
No but really, if this is your motivation for having a lot of money you don't care as much about money as you might think.
' I only care about money vs When I have a lot of money I give a lot away' doesn't compute
That being said, I think you're either overthinking this subject, or you're an attention whore.
Also, I highly doubt that you've had professional help and got turned your back upon by them.
You don't strike me as the person who would trip over the same stone twice. So why after your first bad experience, would you visit another therapist?
Not to mention that it's hard to imagine, that a professional will turn you down because he doesn't understand the problem or can't solve it.
& if you're so low on money, where did you find the money to go see a therapist (twice)?
So to get back to your question with 'what do you mean with man up".
Is to stop whining about everything, and get your priorities straight.
What do you want?
You want money? Then go and get it!
Go look for better jobs, go and improve your game. There won't be a magic answer here, in the end you have to do it yourself.
Nothing in life is free, so feeling sorry yourself isn't gonna get you anywhere.
