Re: live NL stress

Make friends with them while you're there and make fun of them behind their back when you leave. It's really the best way if you feel like you're a superior person - I'm not talking just in terms of poker skill; you know what I'm talking about.

I have honed the ability to turn any negative situation around into a positive one. The most angry player at the table will be my friend by the end of my session. If I'm getting on someone's nerves, I will pick up on it immediately and change it around on them into a light/positive situation.

I like to sing whatever song is on the radio, bang on the table a bit when I'm hitting a run of ****ty cards or the players around me are killing my playstyle with the stack I have so I make the mental note to adjust and continue singing and when I hit that hand, I am still singing.

Honestly, suck it up and be nice to people. You may in fact be "holier than thou" but at the poker table, treat everyone's money equally
