I dont hate it when i know im beat. However what i disgust is when players try to make u feel they are weak but actually hold the nuts of some sort. I cannot stand that sht. Or these nits that suddenly limp with a strong pp and they want u to think u can get them of their hand.

I must not be the only one who hates folding at certain points. Its such a boring game now and then. Mayb thats the thing. Also ego plays a part. "i cant fold again, they'l think im weak" That drives me nuts. Makes me feel like im a loser or something. Whether i call or fold, it doesnt matter. It seems so out of character this game here and there.

Try fixed limit holdem. You get to play lots of hands and because of the fixed bets, you're almost always getting good odds to draw. To put it in perspective, at a six handed no limit holdem table, I'll play ~30/22. At a six handed fixed limit holdem table, I'll play 45/35. My went to showdown when saw flop is probably >40% in heads up pots, 50%+ vs maniacs.

Semi aggressive dude opens in middle position, I 3 bet 77, folds to him and he says, "just fold" as he 4 bets, I call and say, "I hate to fold." He says, "I know you do." and away we go to the flop:

T45r

he bets, I call.

8o

he bets, I call.

7o

he checks, I bet, he calls. I show my set, he shows JJ.

Standard hand but a fun one that I never would've won had the game been no limit holdem.

Bob, that is a terrible example. You're actually losing so many chips there in the long run. Your only hope is that he has a 4bet range that includes more AK AQ stuff than better pairs. Either way, spiking a 2 outer on the riv doesn't prove your original point.

Flop: 9.5:1 is good enough with the backdoor straightdraw, two sevens, and sometimes having the best hand. Folding here would be a pretty big mistake.

Turn: 5.75:1 is good enough with six solid outs to a set or straight, as well as sometimes having the best hand. Folding here would be a pretty big mistake.

River is easy.

Where did you want me to fold? I hate folding.

Well, on the turn, a "solid" 6 outs. AKA 13% equity? And "sometimes having the best hand" in a 4bet pot... even the most aggressive players aren't going to miss here enough for that to be the case very often. Or are you saying that players are actually 4betting and barreling off all their air here?

No they're not barreling all air there, but I think he'd play AK and AQs that way. Even if his range is all overpairs, I'd still call the turn because I have at least a big bet of implied odds.

When u hate folding u got the wrong mind set at that time, cause i only have it now and then. Its some form of tilt or somethin, or people annoying me outside poker.

It seems like a big leak to switch to a game to adapt to the fact that you're a calling station. I'd rather play the games where the actual money is, and not encourage myself to have donk habits. Enjoy FL tho

If you hate folding, in essence you hate money. Because, losing as little as possible with your middling stuff is equally as important as winning with your monsters.

im not a cs, nor hating money. Im greedy thats what its about. So losing goes against that. The money allready in i mean. Thats what clutters my decisionmaking.
Basicly i litterally start crying like a lil btch inside when im ahead first and then facing a huge riverbet all of the sudden. This is hate at its maximum lol.
