How do I focus on what I won and not the amount I lost? How do I focus on what I won and not the amount I lost?

Ok so I appreciate any feedback from you guys. I grew up in a gaming town AC, NJ recently about 5 years ago moved down south where there's no gambling around me because of work purposes not gambling. So I've become very active with offshore sports book one book mainly. I have a very hard time to have discipline during the cash out process.
In the past doing live gambling whether it was blackjack or poker I had no problem walking away when I got to my number I wanted to profit because I walked out that day with cash in my hand.

But now with the only option being online I have to wait for big cash outs. I do the sports book. Some poker. And also live blackjack. Reason for thus thread is I see myself dwelling on the number I "had" in my sports book account but during the cash out process or whatever bc it was a few days played some so never got that number out always a lower one. Just recently I deposited 750 and rang it up to 35k in a week span. But because between various methods I could only cash out around 9500 a week. I only managed to get 21k paid out to me and lost 14k back. Now I'm happy I won 20k biggest cash in my life but I'm hard on myself bc during the process and knowing it would take another 2 weeks at least to get the rest out u kept playing and lost 15k back which is a huge amount ....anyone can relate to this? I'm just bothered that I'm stuck on I had 35k but because I wasn't patient and couldn't deal with the long time it takes to get it out of a offshore book I risked that money and lost it. Thanks guys.

I'm a little confused. Did you never have losing days when you played live? What did you do then?

Yes I have. But I also never gave back alot of my profits and was a lot more disciplined because I was able to walk out of the casino at any given moment once I was up. Whereas with online gaming you have limits on payouts and payout time frames before the money is actually out of your account.

I guess what it really boils down to is having the discipline to not touch the computer until the day or two it takes to get out of your account. Just wondered how many others have struggled with this situation also with online gaming getting up cashing out but bc of the delayed process losing some or all of it back in the interim?
