Couple factors are that people dont have so much money anymore, and the players are getting better.
So anyone who had a million, and is down to 100K has a hard time grinding it out at 2/4 instead of 200/400. Id say people got greedy, got used to luxury, and cant adjust their lives anymore. Then it just takes one night of huge risk, a few loans, and bad rivercard.

yeah pretty much this can happen to anyone. you lose a certain amount of money u get mad u forget the value of money. poker is just a game so ur playing the game bad loseing all of ur money in the process. all you have to do is take a break and get ur mind pieced back together. Its more of a personality problem because not every poker player will keep on playing when they are playing bad most logically stop and just play later when they are ready to win. Some of us degen players gotta lose it all a few times to realize the value of money and to learn the reasoning to stop when ur not playing good. wakeing up in the morning a few times with not even haveing the money to get back in the game and tear **** up when u are so ready to play the game but cant anymore because of desicions made before will make a player learn fast.
