I did love playing, making correct decisions etc. But now - completely dead broke.

I had a job, was playing poker for fun, had some over 10k scores and decided to quit job and just play. And it did not end well, too much drinking and gambling games, right now I have lost all the money, I have house bills to pay after 1 week and I have no options. I'M 22 YEARS Old but irresponsible as ****.

Anyone had something similar? Right now I have no money to even pay for house.

Please if anyone had similar experience please let me know what's the exit from all of this.

never been in your position but I recommend find a job in order to be able to pay for your house! In your spare time just try to find your life purpose and why you want to play. If you play just to play, it is not good enough. You have to know why you do what you do, make some goals and stick to it!

You can always get back to playing but must be able to pay for your house and life! Get a job and enhance your skills and you will see where you will be in a year !

Poker and drinking generally shouldn't mix. If you have issues with both, you shouldn't be doing either. A few scores over 10k does not merit quitting a stable job to play full-time. Try getting your job back or a different job and get your house squared away. Go to AA and GA and/or get some therapy to help with your addictions.

i had a drinking problem idk if i was alcoholic, i prolly was

I have 5 years sober under my belt now. Is the nuts!

I drink when I play and I find it sometimes be a problem as far as BRM goes. I don't really have fun playing if I don't drink, but I also have a full-time decent paying job.

I also wanted to make the leap to full-time grinding, the one thing holding me back was the fact that I drink when I play and I don't want to be doing that. If ever I decided to play poker full-time, I would make a life choice of deciding not to drink and to try and enjoy playing the game sober.

I made a post a while ago about drinking and poker and it had a lot of responses. Maybe you can go back through that thread and it may help find you some answers.

Any drug whilst playing poker is a bad idea unless its something that will relax you and make u focus. Hard to find a chemcial like that though
