I've been playing for about 2 years now and I have a problem. Every time I play poker I get this unpleasant adrenalinerush that makes my heartbeats go up, I get really sweaty and its really not pleasant.

It is giving me a little anxiety to play so I kind of dread to play. I love the game and really wants to put in more hours playing and not just watching or reading/learning about it. I would have though it would have gone away by now when I have played around 1500 Sng's.

Question: How do you feel before and during playing poker? And any tips of how to fix this problem?

Have you tried meditating? it helps . It doesnt have to be super "dramatic" meditating. Or the "hippie" way of meditating. You can just kneel down(both knees) for a little bit and just breath deeply and calm down.

I read something where it said focus and think of something like a cloud with wind blowing in or around the cloud with each deep breathe you take (it helps to focus while meditating).. and i would do it for a couple minutes or how ever long I needed to.... it helped me

hey op, i still get sweaty hands/pits/feet and anxious feeling often even in 5$ mtt's and ive played $1000 mtt's and tons of high enough stake cash that i'd imagine this to not ne a problem by now(3.5 years.) i find it real annoying too and feel like i wanna shower all the time lol
