Re: 16 year old gambling addict, trying to put poker behind me and move on with my life.

OP, you think you're making the right decision by distancing yourself from playing poker, but really, you're still just in the mindset of "making it all back" by investing in a backer. You're doomed to repeat your mistakes with this route.

This can't be for real. You post like a young fool! Hope you are a level, otherwise you son, are totally screwed. You will have to hit a major luckbox score , possible, but so are lightning strikes! Try to get away from this!

The truth is that OP probably won't take the advice given to heart by people who have made the same mistakes as him. I'm one of them, and I remember people telling me the same things and not listening, subsequently failing, and now realizing the futility in coaching somebody else in that position to listen to me. You think you're an amazing player because you're young, you don't understand sample size, you aren't committed, you made money easily because you bluffed a lot and then when villains adjusted, you called it variance.

Make the mistakes you're making now, and when you're older you'll realize the responses were right. I know I'm making mistakes now that I'll look back on, having received the same advice I'll someday give, and say "If I had only listened..."
