Now, I entered that hand under the assumption that this was a legitimate poker tournament with legitimate poker tournament rules. Tournament rules are that whoever has the highest chip stack before that hand is awarded the highest finishing place if 2 multiple people are eliminated on the same hand. I had the higher chip stack. I should've been awarded 3rd place and been given the $90. The only reason I played that hand was to increase the odds of the 4th place guy being eliminated. He was forced to go all in because of the blinds. What can be done to credit my account with the remaining $45 that not awarded to me?
This is a continuing problem that has happened to me also. In my case, both of us split the 3rd place prize, and that is not the norm for poker tournaments anywhere. I hope they will fix this.
If two players go out on the bubble, the player with the bigger stack at the beginning of the hand should be awarded 3rd place, as albundy331 stated above.
