Tables do not open Tables do not open

The last two days, when I go to log in, the 'play' button is missing from the toolbar, the lobby defaults to the gold coin thing, and when a SNG or MTT starts, the tables do not automatically pop up for me. This happening to anyone else?

Why is this happening?

Happening to me too.

When I log in late and an mtt I'm already registered has started, even clicking the "go to table" button doesn't work. I have to find my name on the chip count list and click "open table" next to my name.

Used to be whenever you logged in and were sitting out in an mtt, that table auto popped up.

Well, glad it isn't my computer; but, it seems like there is a real issue with the software. If they did some sort of system update/upgrade, there is a bug in it somewhere.

I had this problem, more specifically with the tournament table opening. The problem that I had was that Chrome was blocking "pop ups". As soon as I updated the permissions to allow pop ups, the problem seemed to be resolved.

I never had that issue before and been playing on Global since January all on Chrome. I guess they could have upgraded their browser and I didn't realize it. Although, that would not resolve the missing 'play' button on the horizontal toolbar or the lobby suddenly opening to the gold coin games.

I am having trouble visualizing what you are describing and I am working now so can't log on to Global to check it out. You are right though that my solution doesn't look like it would resolve those issues since they don't have to do with pop-ups.

My page started looking like that a couple/few days ago also I noticed. When I enlarge the window to full screen the "play poker, play poker now" or whatever it says button on the left end of the toolbar becomes visible.

Thanks,

I just tried this and noticed the same. When you maximize the screen it becomes visible however when you minimize parts are lost.

I will pass this on to work out what happened.

Thanks!

The resizing should be automatic in html5, as should the pop-up window for the table. You have to manually allow a 'pop-up' from the site on the unsecured address, http?www.global.... If you just type into the address bar 'globalpoker.com' it takes you to a non secured version of the site, too. It should auto jump to a secured site. If someone were to join today and visit the site via globalpoker.com they would be taken to an unsecure site to register their account. This seems to have come around the timing of the disconnects several days ago.

There are some 404 errors and a deprecation warning on the site.

Agreed on the HTTPS auto redirect. I mentioned that in a new thread and Global mentioned they are forwarding it to the correct people, but as of yet it is not fixed. It is an issue to be sure, and should also be an easy fix.

Where can I go in Chrome to get the sng and tourney window to open auto? I looked and can't find anything, and the ********* is white listed and the site is set to allow opening of windows.
