Signed up for two accounts - How can I work this out? Signed up for two accounts - How can I work this out?

So first off I really dig Global Poker.

I signed up via Facebook and played awhile. I read a post on here about people having trouble cashing out because their email they signed up with didn't match. My Facebook email is an old email I don't have access too. I figured this would cause issues with cashing out.

So ok fine I will sign up using my email I use now.

Well now I read this is against terms of service and people are having issues cashing out because they have 2 accounts on the same IP.

So is there some way I can work this out and delete the old account? I want to play but if I have violated the terms to the point my accounts will be terminated and I can't cash then I might just hold off playing.

Thanks for your help!

Yes it's against the TOS, but you're doing the right thing by taking it to support. Kimbr will probably reply here after her weekend is over but you should email support I would say and explain the above. They should be able to close one for you and get you moving forward the right way.

I did the same thing on another network. I went to them and they closed one and that was that. Bringing it to them says you made a mistake, like glutenfree said, as opposed to them confronting you and trying to explain it away.

Kim has been very reasonable in how she has dealt with some of the comments here. I'd guess you will be fine when its all said and done.

Thank you for the replies. I sent them an email explaining the situation and you all have made me feel better about it.

I signed up for multiple accounts when your site first launched to try out your site and because it was so easy to do so. Back then I wasn't so sure you're site was legit... now I would like to sign up for a real account but don't want to get my funds confiscated since I didn't follow the original TOS. Can you tell me what my options are? Thanks.

lol. So you broke the TOC by trying to take advantage of their $2 free deposits and want them to accept you back after taking $16 from them.

Hopefully they ban all 7 of your accounts for trying to pull that stunt.

I need your help! Iwas enjoying Global poker and decided to cash out for the first time since joining via facebook. I then got an email stating I had more than one account and GP deactivated my account. Only problem is that I signed up with one email only and absolutely never created more than one account. I do live in a duplex (separate households) and I'm not sure if my neighbor may have signed up too, flagging the IP address?? I enjoy GP and would like to be able to continue playing. I would also like the $500 sitting in my account to be accessible. I in no way violated the terms and haven't received a response as to why on earth my account would be deactivated when I did nothing to violate the terms? Please help!!

I am essentially in the same position as the OP, is my best plan of attack to message Kimber? FWIW I have had my account verified and made two withdraws. I am just wanted to make sure I can continue to enjoy Global Poker

I am in a similar situation.

An account was opened fraudulently under my facebook page by one of my developmentally disabled clients when he was using the computer, which had all my login info saved for certain sites, sites he was not supposed to be using. I was unaware of this until I attempted to cash out on the account that I opened and received the notice that I had opened two accounts which violates the terms.

I have been emailing back and forth with customer support however feel like it is not going anywhere. I am very upset that my account has been blocked because I really enjoy being able to play hold em legally in my state, on top of potentially losing my winnings. I do not believe I should be punished for the unauthorized use of my computer and accounts. I have never even attempted to open more than one account on any poker sites that I have played on in the past, nor would I in the future.

Kimberly, would you please look into this for me. My email is jasonwangamp@yahoo.com and my username is "sweetcream"

Thank you
