Had anyone tried running Poker Tracker on GP? Work well?

Doesn't work and I'm glad it doesn't

There's no downloadable hand history for PT4 to work with, and let's hope it stays that way.

+1 no trackers please.

I agree with the last three posts.

Yea even the pros are fish at global.... **** Poker tracker

Hand histories are fine the way they are. Play poker with your mind the way it is supposed to be.

+1 on not allowing trackers

But I would like to see some sort of internal tracker of my own game, so I can analyze my own stats and keep an accurate results per 100 hands across different games

+1

No trackers!

I have been a long user of PT4 for exactly what you want for it. I use the old school Poker Journal on my iphone as a way of tracking my sessions (as I have used it for live cash). If you go to the Hand History, (Your Profile>Hand History) all your hands are in there.

I'm grateful to discover that I'm not the only one who'd prefer to play without trackers. +1 to no trackers!

+1 no trackers/hud!!
05-17-2017 , 03:07 PM
Why is everyone so against them? I have used them from time to time and I am fine with or without them. I don't see how HUDs really hurt the game and I don't see why they should be not aloud.

+1 for no HUD. Right now it seems Global is more of a rec friendly site, and i'm sure we all want to keep it that way. Not saying implementing HUDs will change that, but it seems fine without them. You can always take notes on players like the old days. Is there an app for Android I can use to track my progress?

This is a debate that's been had dozens of times on our forums; I'm kind of surprised you've never seen the discussion before.

Some people feel that they offer an unfair advantage and/or playing with one isn't "real poker". But the big issue for most people is that they allow people to more easily play multiple tables, and the thinking is that this leads to a lot of so-called "HUDbots" to play a boring style on a ****load of tables while draining money from the fish - I think the feeling is that this is bad for the games.

But as I said, this debate has been had many, many times before, so there's probably no need to redo it again here.

I have used them in the past too. Still: +1 no tracker/hud

So does the site even have a say in this? Right now I'm just hoping that I'm not the last person to find out that Huds are up on GP. GP: if you do have a say, please no HUDs.
06-11-2017 , 06:55 AM
If almost all sites have no issue with them, what is the issue if one site does? Still plenty of other options and just like having no late registrations, it is something different offered at Global vs other sites. If their traffic continues to grow, it would seem they are filling a niche that other sites don't offer.

Now if they'd offer some FL, stud, PLO8, and mixed game tournaments, they'd be filling another nice hole.

PLEASE NO HUDS!

I'm one of the few guys that has been around since before PT existed...and I can honestly say that other then black friday and the UIGEA, PT has been the worst thing for online poker.

I also have been around since before PT (as in Party Poker on dial up modem). And I couldn't agree more.

Not that this thread needs one more voice on the side of no trackers, but agreed. There are plenty of other places that people who want to use trackers can go, let them go there, and let Global keep this as a competitive advantage.

THIS site should not have trackers, for sure
07-02-2017 , 08:21 PM
In the interest of re confirming our position. Global Poker strongly opposes the use of HUDs. We are proud to have a site where recreational players are happy to come and play on a level playing field.

We are constantly looking at things we can do to keep HUDs off our site.

kill the first person that uses one and staple their head to a telephone pole
