Just last week I thought I would try out GlobalPoker and I made a deposit.

I'm a former Pokerstars/Full Tilt (pre-BF) and Bovada/Ignition (post-BF) player and I was very skeptical at first, but for the most part I am pretty impressed with GlobalPoker.

Since I mostly play on my iPhone, it was nice to see you can use it for Cash/SNG's/Tournies.

I would give the functionality of playing on a PC 9/10, and on the Iphone 6/10.

Regarding GlobalPoker on iPhone:

My biggest complaint is it often takes awhile for that one page that you have to click "I Understand" to disappear in order to log in.

Often it takes 5 or 6 times for it to disappear.

A few other glitches as well, and I hope GlobalPoker tries to improve the iPhone functionality in the near future.

Also, as mentioned, there is no sound on mobile..which isn't a big deal for me, but I know it is for others.

The avatars are all annoying, so I just have to remember to turn off avatars prior to sitting at a table.

For tournaments that are in registration, the starting chip stacks are not displayed on the iPhone like it is on a PC. I would think that is something that was just overlooked.

My one "real" complaint is the tournament payout structures are too top heavy, IMO. Would like to see a more flattened pay structure like most of the other sites use. 1st place shouldn't pay double 2nd place, etc.

Most of the above are minor annoyances that I hope get tweaked. Hats off to GlobalPoker for having NO late registrations in tournaments..this is one of the best features..no more 3-4 hour late regs like on Bovada and Ignition..those were just the nut low.

When I see very little to no chat and the players that timeout all do so with the same micro time, I think bots, bots, bots. am I wrong?

is 5% rack a bit high?
