GLOBAL POKER--STAY AWAY GLOBAL POKER--STAY AWAY

Hello everyone.. quick heads up on Global poker. I joined their site about 2 weeks ago and even tho I haven't ran very good I enjoyed their site, so I haven't minded making a couple deposits (as I have a account on PayPal already and that is the ONLY way to deposit or withdraw).. several days ago I was playing at a table and watched a conversation between 2 players. BOTH were having nightmare issues trying to withdraw. One of them had been "on hold" with them for 5 days, having been asked to send verifying documents 3 times and he had sent everything ALL 3 TIMES..the other player has went thru the exact same thing 2 times in the last week.. This all started me wondering and worrying about the site, so I decided to do a SMALL cashout (just $25.) to see how them operate. After several days they have not even acknowledged my cashout. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!! USA players are tired and fed up of sites opening and taking deposits, and not taking care of business. I also wanted to mention that the same day i joined Global I also joined nitrogen poker..Just to let you know, i've done 3 cashouts in 2 weeks and in LESS THAN 10 MINUTES my money was in my bitcoin wallet. If you like this type software use Nitrogen instead.

Rubbish. I had my cashout approved in 24 hours. Did you email them about your cashout? They have a forum if anyone had problems they could post on there. Also nitrogen poker has zero traffic just about.

While that does sound frustrating, given that you were telling everyone 2.5 years ago that BetOnline was going to be the next Lock Poker, it's possible that you jump to conclusions a little too soon at times.

I'll move this thread over to the Global Poker forum where you can hopefully get some help.

Here was my experience with GP cash outs.

I was referred to GP by a friend who started playing there I guess at the end of the year or there abouts. My friend told me the first cash out can take up to a week because they need verification docs and such, after that they take 24 hours.

I did my first cash out on a Tuesday, a small one just to get the ball rolling with the verification process. I received an automated email acknowledging the request and asking for the documents to verify my account. I replied that afternoon with a pdf of the docs. On Saturday I got another email again acknowledging the cash out request and advising they can not process until I submit my verification docs (Uh oh!). I replied that I had already submitted them on Tuesday when I got the first email, and am attaching them again for their convenience. I received a reply back a couple hours later thanking me for my patience, my docs were received and cash out approved. The money hit my paypal account Saturday night.

Subsequent cash outs have been approved and processed within 24 hours.

Also FWIW, my friend who turned me on to GP has never had an issue with cash outs either. YMMV they are new so there will be hiccups and bumps in the road but so far I am happy with the service.

I have had 5 cashouts from $40 to $160 and all were made in the 24 hr. period
as stated. As a matter of fact they all came about 10:30 pm cst.

Hi JMG_118,

Thank you for bringing this up to our attention.

We normally require for verification documents once an initial cashout is requested. This is to make sure that funds will be sent to the correct account holder.

Once the documents were sent immediately and verified by us, the withdrawal will be approved as soon as possible. Also, this verification is made only once and future withdrawals will be processed within 24 hours.

We strongly suggest that if this happens to you or any from your friends, contact us immediately through our support email address which is support@globalpoker.com so that we can provide proper assistance.

shame..shame..shame.. you just don't get it. you can run almost any type poker site, with almost any type platform which may or may not have certain games and it will thrive as long as you do the #1 most important thing.. when players want part or even all of their money in a cashout, GIVE IT TO THEM!!!
I have sent emails to your support email address, posted on 2 poker forums, and tryed everything I can think of to get you to handle your business in a acceptable manner.. NO LUCK... I can understand 2 + 2 backing you, they are getting paid to.. I guarantee that if you handled your business with them in the same manner you treat your players, they would dump you in a heartbeat. You have NO link on your site to submit verification papers, or you do NOT have anything on your site that talks about it.. and to be honest, why would you need verification to begin with? you are sending or receiving nothing from the players, EVERYTHING goes thru pay pal.. Fortunately, I an retired and don't care about the chicken **** amount of money in your site, but I can say this... If you are a player who is thinking about making a deposit there.. THINK AGAIN

I am not overly bullish on this room (paypal longevity seems uncertain and a lack of general security is a concern), though I can see where it has a place in the industry with the proper bankroll management and risk assessment. The room seems genuine and the person posting here seems genuine, despite needing to grow a bit into the job as expected.

On the other hand, you come across as a permanent member of the 10% crowd that generates 90% of drama in the world, and as such your complaints should be taken with that in mind. While I am not going to play there, I certainly would not be impacted by your situation when making that choice.

The only representative of 2+2 that has posted in this subforum to my knowledge is Bobo, and he has remained neutral regarding Global Poker.

I'm not sure you're getting it. The situation you're going through sounds immensely frustrating, but the level of hassle you're describing seems to be unique to you... the exception, not the norm.

I told you your post was rubbish because you basically inferred GLobal isn't paying out and you shouldn't play there. Many people reported having had easy cashout process. You tried once to cashout ,something went wrong so immediately you tell people to stay away and gave up.

I didn't say I didn't believe you had problems cashing out just that your post was rubbish because you didn't even let the site try and help you and jumped straight to they don't pay and you shouldn't play there when that is not the case.

I first did not agree with op however now there are multiple reports of players missing money from their accounts. They have not reached out to me or responded to my messages. So maybe the op is not delusional.

Yes Kevin, please pay attention to the first post. Ignore ALL the other posts in this thread and on others in this subforum where players not only TRYED but were also successfully in getting their withdrawals, in 24 hours.

As the OP has stated, Global is doomed and one can only look back on his accurate call of the demise of BetOnLine poker back in 2014 to see his soothsayer abilities.

Of course, if you are truly having an issue, another option is you can just contact the customer support email address that is present multiple times.
