Would be kinda cool if you could see the hand that beat you at showdown in cash games before getting the reload screen.

There is a reason they're not allowed on Pokerstars anymore and that was before it was owned by Amaya and not for greed based reasons. Global reps, google "chinese DON scandal" and check out how they took over 2 million USD off the site. They are basically not able to be monitored in a way that can prevent colusion, would take tons of $ and time for Global to try to keep them rec friendly and it still probably would be impossible.

I would like to see some $10+1 non-turbo 9man sng's

I would think having to sit there looking at the hand on screen for the next 5 minutes would increase tilt, not decrease it. It's happened to me a couple times in mtt's where I lose a big pot then it goes on break and it's maddening to see that hand still sitting there on display haha

There might have been a touch of sarcasm... the blinds coming out of the break are 150-300. Tilt isn't much of an issue w/ 500 chips.

First of all, I want to say that you guys have made a nice solution for the hands history situation. You made it so that players still have the data to track their own results while discouraging huds. Props on that. However, I don't think that change should have been at the top of the priority list when there are so many more glaring issues that need a solution immediately. There have been a lot of great ideas in this thread and so I'm going to repost a list of them from the most to the least urgent:

1. Lower heads up and short handed rake to normal levels. In each session that i play every 6m table at my stakes will be completely full and there's nobody willing to start a new tables because your rake is way too high. Meanwhile, you have so many players just waiting to see a table in the lobby that has 3 or more players seated. My experience is that once 3 players are seated at a table it fills almost instantly. The money you would lose by lowering your rake for shorthanded / heads up would be negated by having many more full tables running in the lobby. ** Additionally, it would be great for you to develop a global waitlist so that players can choose to take the next available seat at whatever game type / stakes he or she wants. This would prevent people having to constantly monitor the lobby just hoping to find the 1 open seat before somebody else does. It's important that this is a global waitlist and not an individual table waitlist so that you don't have people just trying to prey on the weaker players. **

2. You need to have a 'wait for next big blind' option that is automatically selected in situations where a player has missed posting their blinds and wants to sit back in. Anybody who wants to sit back in sooner can uncheck the option. This will help the frequent disconnects be less of a problem for players. When you get sat out, it's really annoying to have to keep an eye on the dealer button to make sure you don't post before the big blind gets back to you.

3. The 'sit out next blind' option need to be changed to 'sit out next big blind'. Nobody wants to sit out on their small blind after paying the big blind, but the current option allows that to happen.

4. The bet slider is designed poorly. If you want to increase your bet by a bb you click to the right on the bet slider, no problem. But the problem is when you're tryingto size your bet smaller. You can't click to the left on the bet slider because the bar is so close to the left edge of the bet slider that there's no space in which to click. This leads to a lot of frustration when multitabling because you can't properly size your bet meanwhile you have so little time to act that sometimes you end up just having to bet some random amount before timing out. This will all be solved by enabling the ability to increase / decrease bet size by the scroll wheel on your mouse.

5. If you click fold you when you can check, you get a pop up asking you if you want to fold or check. If you then try to hit check, one of your tables will go black. Don't even have a fold button if there's no bet, or, if a player clicks fold just have them check automatically.

6. Combine $400 and $600 sweeps cash into $500 and add $1k stakes. $400 and $600 are redundant and the jump from $600 to $2k is way too big. If a player runs bad at $2k , it takes a really long time to be able to win back enough money to play $2k again. What's more, the max buy in is $3000 at $2k stakes so it plays even bigger than normal. Look at the jump of every other stakes. $4>$10>$20>$50>$100>$200>$400>$600>$2000. The jump from 400 to 600 is only 1.5x while the jump from 600 to 2000 is more like 3.5x+ when you consider the max buy in. In plo it's even worse, going from 400 > 2k. Make these stakes standard for both game formats.

7. Let players sit out for 2 orbits instead of one before being kicked. You shouldn't have to fear getting kick from you table because you have to go to the bathroom and answer the door.

8. The button is given to the wrong person for the next hand after a 3rd players sits.

9. Increase the minimum buy in to 30-40bb

10. Lobby filters by game type and stakes

11. When you click 'leave table', the table just turns black. If you reopen the table then you're still seated there and automatically sat back in. Make this button so that it actually removes the player from the table.

12. Get rid of the pop up that asks you if you want to keep playing. (If possible, I've read that it's necessary for the legals reasons so if that's the case then never mind)

13. The dealer button covers the bet amount sometimes, fix that.

14. When trying to top up at the table, after you top up the rebuy screen doesn't go away unless you hit 'cancel'. Make it work like it's supposed to.

15. If you buy into a table and hit 'cancel', you still occupy a spot at the table for several hands. Make the cancel option actually remove the player from the table immediately.

We really hope that you're still reading these suggestions and taking them into consideration. You had done a great job in the past being active in your forum but it seems like there's been a lack of activity from support in this forum for the past month.

Thanks for the info, I had no idea about this until now. Off to do some googling.

Looks like I should change my +1 to a -1 for the Double or nothings.

So how does Global Poker work? I am seeing some info about cash outs to pay pal... Do you deposit via pay pal? How do I get started?

https://globalpoker.com/page/faq

That is probably the best place to answer most questions, but the long and short of the deal is you don't deposit, but instead buy gold coins that have no monetary value. The package you buy will come with $weeps Cash (all but one of them, the $75 one I think don't get that one). This $weeps Cash can be turned into Global Poker and Global Poker will then deposit the same amount of USD in your PayPal account equal to the amount of $weeps Cash you turn in.

Hopefully all of that helps, see you at the tables!

ya it's actually a very interesting read, heckuva story! They basically had rented out places in strip malls and had players sitting next to each other colluding, the bosses would train em and pay em a wage iirc. There were players talking about traveling there to pursue legal action and China was like gtfo we dgaf lol we are China. Pokerstars got rid of the format and introduced the 50/50's because of it shortly thereafter. This should end all discussion of Don's by anyone other than people interested in colluding. Triple ups and 50-50's are a little better. Even WPN who welcomes and encourages all sorts of bs to raise their bottom line doesn't have don's currently.

Can't do this. Fold is a legal action to take even facing no bet (obviously it's silly to fold, but it is a legal action none the less).

I agree that that should not have been on the top of the priority list of improvements to make.

Why have they not fixed the filters yet? Can't stand the SNGs filters and scrolling through the running games to get to the registering games.

Much better thanks for the update. I don't have to hunt through tables for open cash games and SNGs

I have a couple thoughts:

1) Double up SNGs (6 players buy in for X. Half the players cash for 2X). They had those on intertops and were really fun

2) Add the option for "apply to all" when you change screen size. It's really frustrating to be playing multitple tables, go click on something else like a different tab to change music in between hands, and go back to the game windows and have them all be min sized

3) add a wait list for cash games PLEASE

1. So as was pointed out to me, because I was in favor of the DON SNG types, they are heavy with collusion. So -1 for me there.

2. Yeah I would love a resize all command, altough I don't know how easy that is from a web programming front. Not sure Chrome supports such a feature. But +1 if it could.

3. I am fine without the waitlists. But I wouldn't mind them either, so push?

So how many coins do it take to cash in for sweeps cash? I guess how hard is it to work your way up with a minimum package you buy? How do you win sweeps cash?

Slim33, Gold Coins cannot be turned in for $weeps Cash in any way. They are simply the secondary currency that exists on Global Poker. The $weeps Cash can be gotten in one of 4 ways (there may be others I am unaware of)

1. You start with $2! When you open your account you will be given, for no charge $2 $weeps Cash. Use them well.

2. Bonus when you purchase Gold Coins. If you buy a Gold Coin package, all but the $750 package, you will get an equal amount of bonus $weeps Cash. This $weeps Cash can be cashed out at any time with PayPal, and also used to play in $weeps Cash games, SNGs, or MTTs.

3. By participating in Facebook or other social media competitions. I haven't done this myself, so I can't speak exactly to the process, but I am aware of some players that have won the competition on Facebook and they get bonus $weeps Cash that can play on the site.

4. By mailing in envelopes. Check the website for details, but you can get up to 300 in $weeps Cash per year by sending in envelopes. Just like any sweepstakes in the US, the purchase has to not be necessary for it to be legal. This fulfills that requirement, 6 $weeps Cash at time

And to clarify further, but not to insult, Gold Coins can't be traded or used to redeem them into $weeps Cash at any time now, and very likely not in the future.

Hopefully this answers your questions, but feel free to ask others, or for clarification, as I may have made it more confusing.

Kind of odd that Global is blowing up incredibly fast right now, but the response time on 2+2 has slowed to a halt...
