Absurdly laggy for me the last few hours using chrome. Every other website working fine.

I've had better results with Firefox, than Chrome or Opera last couple of days. If you're lagging i suggest trying a different browser.

Don't have so many apps running on your browser. You have get rid of a lot of them to play on global since its browser based. And if you have old computer just change in your control panel the performance from balanced to high performance and turn it back to balanced when your done or your electric bill will be higher and your comp will get a little more hotter. You guy are to lazy to just google how to get rid of lag on your comp. There is other things you can do too like make your desk top background a plain color. There is other things you can do too but I am not your daddy. You gotta put on your big boy pants and google whatever your using windows or mac and figure it out. Global not responsible for your comp lagging thats your issue with your cheap computer you bought at walmart.

Switching to firefox fixed it for me but it is unplayable on my phone and chrome sucks. Both were fine 99% of the time for over a year.

Ive always played on Chrome and always on this same laptop. Last night was beyond bad to the point of being unplayable. Never had a problem like this before and nothing else I tried (streams, video games, Netflix etc.) was having any issue so def on Globals end. Like I said, never had a problem before so I assume its a temporary issue with the site. Really hope its fixed before Sunday.

I have had this lag problem since the 20th I have tried 4 different devices no good. I have no problem with any other web site, I watch you tube perfectly. I go on and play gold coin game everything is fine but as soon as I'm seated for sweeps tourney bang today 12 second lag average so just get folded on out. I have complained and all's I get is the technical dept is fixing it. So they admit it's them but I have not seen my entry fees put back in my account. This snafu tells me that global is in trouble. Before any genius tells me this or that , I have blazing fast internet that I pay out the ass for so I don't have this kind of problem.

I dont play on global anymore but since ACr is down I put some money on to see if the lag was maybe on their end cause its crappy software and my friend complained about it has he has pretty nice setup for poker and gaming. My comp should not lag at all and i saw weird lag going on. So I win a all in situation and quickly sit and get off the tables because its lagging. So i should have a profit. Once again no profit my bankroll is the same i started with and once again the cashier stole my winnings. This now the 5th time. this is why i left the site. They are going to go out of business. This stuff cant happen. And it continues to happen. Even the hand i won is not showing up in the hand history. And their hand history is nonsense. I can't believe people put up with this nonsense and still play on it. This is nonsense. THey thnk poker players are going to put up with their tech issues. not for very long when its a issue thats been going for like a year. I see traffic is way down. This is ridiculous. THeir cashier doesn't work. Dont play right now. If you do you may not get your profits. That cashier is messed up right now.

Just checking to see if anyone else is experience connection issues tonight.

I am able to use the internet perfectly fine, stream TV shows etc, but have lost connection in game several times this evening. I'm well aware it is likely an issue on my end but just wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing difficulty.

lagging super hard from that stupid private newsletter tourney.......please make that shart go away

Same here. I experienced huge lag during the newsletter tourney and experienced the vanishing fold/check/raise buttons while multi tabling this last Sunday. I was literally raising blind and hoping I clicked the right spot.

As for the lag during the tourney..luckily i was nearing the end of a session, so I was only one tabling at that time, and I noticed someone mention in the chat to "close the lobby." I made several attempts until I finally had to close the tab all together and just blind out until I was logged back in and seated back at my table. I was able to then close the lobby and the lag stopped all together. Had I been multi tabling MTTs or playing cash at the same time, I would've certainly lost out on pertinent hands and blinds because I had to close them all out.

Very disappointing to see this is an ongoing issue.

You guys do know that Global can't control browser updates.

Chrome constantly breaks java based code. We even have problems with some **** at work because of Chrome updates.

Switch browsers and everything works fine and then you want to blame Global? Seems kinda ****ty if you ask me.

Tried Opera, Chrome and IE. I can't control how the browser updates change, I can't control how Global codes their site. Kinda ****ty if you ask me.

Literally can't play in the Bonanza right now because of the lag.

I just switched to my laptop running
Windows 10
Intel i7-6700HQ CPU at 2.60

and the site is running MUCH better. Still a few lags, but def better.

The machine that was unplayable was:
Windows 10
i5-3570 at 3.40 GHz

RAM on both is 16, both on the same network, both ethernet wired in, both had good and comparable results with Ookla speed test.

On the Core i5 machine the 6 handed cash games seem to run relatively well, but the nine-handed tournaments are unplayable.
