Sorry if this has been asked and answered, but recently when I tried logging in on my desktop with chrome, it tells me unable to open poker client. Sometimes I will try logging on with my laptop using chrome right after and it will work, other times I get the same error message. Everytime in these situations when I login using my phone, no issues.

So for the first time in years, I opened up firefox and was able to log in. However the lag using firefox was pretty ridiculous in my opinion. Everything else was running well as far as my internet connection was concerned.

My question, is there a reason why I have run into an issue logging in using chrome? Second, is there a way to fix the lag with firefox?

I use chrome for everything and would prefer to just keep it that way, if possible. Thanks.

Can you late reg the tournaments? I haven't put money on the site yet but when I look at tournaments that are running I don't see an option to register.

No late reg - there was either an individual thread regarding it or it was included in the improvements thread. It was discussed and most people enjoy the no-late reg for a handful of reasons

Why is the add-on for the 10:00 Omaha differently priced than all other add-ons?

Can someone provide me information on this site's rake structure? Thanks.

i got my money plus like extra 6 bucks... your costumer service is very poor and giving someone few extra dollars for waiting 2 days for there winnings and emailing them like you did them a favor is bad idea as well...

I'm trying to buy gold coins via PayPal and I'm getting a "No authorized user in session" error every time.

That is lousy your experience was poor with the rep. That said, just a few months ago, people would have slept on hot coals to get 2 day payouts. Global is not perfect, but they are trying. I would suggest giving them constructive criticism so they can work on real problems.

I.E.

Your customer service rep said the following,"blah blah blah" but the expectation that was set was missed for the following reasons:

A. Reasonable point
B. Reasonable point
C. Reasonable point

Framing things up like this will help keep this from turning into a whine fest that Global will just end up having to ignore.

I don't mind telling them they made a mistake, but I think we should do it in a way where they know what to fix.

See ya at the tables!

you are miss understanding. I was not speaking on a cashout. i was talking about a sng that glitched and did not finish and give me my winnings. your point is valid but does not pertain to grievance

See and with just a few more details how much more clear the picture becomes... which is my overall point.

Not sure if anyone else has had this issue or if anyone is even able to help:

So I have been playing on GP for a while now. About 6 weeks ago I cashed all my winnings out, knowing I would not be playing for a while.

Come last Sunday I login and attempt to purchase gold coins in order to play some of the lower stake "Sweeps" games. Whenever I attempt to make a deposit I get this information from Paypal:

"Sorry, we can't complete your purchase at this time please return to the merchant and choose another way to pay"

I reached out to Paypal and they have been useless and given me 4 different explanations. "Delete your cookies, wait about an hour, etc." Finally one rep finally came out and said its a security measure and the transaction will never go through. Which cannot be possible as I have made a deposit less than 2 months ago. GP's support was less useful than a rock. Instructing me to reset my modem.

Nothing with my Paypal account has changed and I have been able to make purchases elsewhere since then.

Any thoughts?

Hi Yerac,

An issue may be because you need to be making the purchase from funds sitting in your PayPal account.

For example, if you are trying to use a bank/debit/credit card to make a payment via PayPal it will not work. The funds need to physically be sitting in your account.

Try this and let me know how you go. Also can you please send me the email sent to you by support about your modem as a PM (I would like to see what is said and potentially provide some caching to the support officer if required).

Thanks!

That doesn't make much sense to me, I've seen people deposit onto the site via debit card through PayPal, why the change now?

It's okay to play in nevada, correct?

Hi CoreyCrawford,

It is different bank by bank which is why it works for some people and not others. When the money is in your PayPal account it isn't a transaction involving your bank.

Are some banks deciding to wrongfully deny gold coin purchases?
07-27-2017 , 02:34 PM
On the FAQ it says players can cash out once they win 50. What if I deposit $100, lose 40, and then want to cash the rest out. Is that possible?

if you are having a private conversation with someone it shouldn't be in the forum at all. If you are having a public conversation with someone the details should be included.

Thank you for correcting this in the future.

i've had a little look around, looks like a good site, was watching a global poker video and only players from the US can cash out can they?

i'm in the UK so no point playing? or from any other country

This is a question and answer thread please keep it that way. If you want to go make a conspiracy thread because you got the banhammer go for it. Please don't derail the thread for your own personal satisfaction though.

Hi IWishIWas,

Thank you for your contribution. You are entitled to your opinion and your right to voice it no matter how baseless it is.

In saying that, you have made your point now. As has been mentioned above this thread is for people to ask questions about Global Poker. Please leave it for its intended use.

We remind you that your previous conspiracy theory thread of choice, the RNG discussion thread, is still alive and well. Please post all future comments in there. We have moved your threads in this thread over to that one to keep this conversation clean.

If you have trouble doing this I have instructed the mods to move any posts you make in this thread over to that one to assist you.

Thanks for your understanding and support. Have a great day.

Team Global Poker.
