What are the cashout requirements for sweeps money thusly obtained? I'm assuming you don't plan to just give $300 a month to anybody who wants it - that might not end up being a sustainable business model.
It says that you can only do it up to 5 times per month for $6 each time... That is $30 not $300.

Also, that is what makes the site legal, same as ClubWPT, which has been operating for years.

Thank you Wwwin for pointing that out. You are absolutely right. Thats one of the key factors that makes our business model legit.

We like to congratulate username tbla43 to a $2,600 payday. He just won our $10,000 Super Bowl freeroll.

Nicely done. And Mr. ZigZag. Even though it sucks being so close and end up the runner up, we hope $1,300 will make up for some of that feeling.
We will amp up our tournaments so be sure to stay with us for your share of the winnings.

Thank you everybody for playing.

and why don't you allow players to change their email and password?
As discussed in item # 7 of our $weeps Rules, the Sponsor/Promoter is not responsible for any fees associated with the payout. Please feel free to refer to the entirety of the Global Poker $weeps Rules HERE.

For security purposes, we only allow the change of e-mail addresses in special cases and contrary to what you have read in Reddit, we do allow the change of password. As a matter of fact, it can be done on the player's end.

hi, i asked why global poker sends cashouts as paypal payments of the type goods/services and with a note, and your rep said that the Sponsor/Promoter is not responsible for any fees associated with the payout. but it doesn't answer why global poker can't send cashouts as paypal payments of the type friends/family and without a note? this is how i get paypal payments from other sites and that type has no fees.

can you provide proof that paypal has approved you? if you're not approved, paypal will close my account for receiving payments from you. your paypal payment note can cause this too.

i also asked why global poker doesn't allow players to change their email, and your rep said that you only allow the change of e-mail addresses in special cases. but why special cases only and what are they? what if i want to change my login email to my paypal email? every other site lets me change my email.

I had the same problem, and also tried the steps the Global Poker admin suggested down thread, multiple times on several computers -- it did not work.

I also emailed support 3 different times; they just gave me the same steps, and did not respond when I said they didn't work. (Support does not respond to replies at all, from what I can see).

My user name on globalpoker.com is AceZagSuited -- I'd appreciate some admin help!

Hi AceZagSuited.

Could you please send us a screenshot of that error. Some players have been experiencing some PayPal errors and we need to find out what that is. If its not on our side.

When you say CS doesnt answer, we find that weird, we answer all questions as soon as we get them pretty much. Questions that regards CS . Some players have asked us to be more specific about the legal issues regarding the business model and PayPal. For this we are now getting our legal department to put together a more comprehensive and detailed answer. That will not only show how our business model works and what makes it legit. It will also show how we are funded. This will take another day or so. We want to make this as transparent as possible to erase any doubts that you as a player might have.

Hi . We will come back with a comprehensive reply regarding PayPal, that I think will answer your questions. It will be in a day or so. Our legal department is working on this to make it as transparent and understandable as possible. This will also answer other questions like funding and ownership and how we handle customers money. So please bare with us for another day or 2 on these topics.

Right now we dont have the feature to change email. We will however try to implement that in the next deployment.

Is there a different email I should be using other than support@globalpoker.com?

I've sent the screenshot in the last two emails. The last one was 6 hours ago; I still haven't heard a response.

Hello there. Yes, that is the correct e-mail address. Can you PM me your e-mail address so I can assist you further?

I pretty much like the software and the way the games play. Not at all disappointed to sit in cash games with call and chase being patient. The tourneys have big overlays as of now and did well in two of the four of them. It is worth checking out if anyone is interested.

The PayPal issue could be problematic down the road. If the justice department puts pressure on them for some reason, all the 'poker/gambling winnings' notes attached could be a disaster. Simple transfers are the best, although my sense is you are doing it like this for bookkeeping/taxation purposes.

At the very least, add the Bitcoin option in the near future.

For whatever it's worth to this discussion, I just called PayPal customer support and asked them specifically if VGW Holdings was considered a social gaming site not a gambling site. The rep did not answer that question specifically, but what he did say is that if the gaming site gives me a PayPal option they can pay my PayPal account, and even if it *is* later detected that they are a gambling site not a social gaming site, the transaction CANNOT be reversed - once they pay you, the money is yours.

That's what the PayPal rep told me. Take it for whatever it's worth to you.

EDIT: For whatever else it's worth, NLOP also pays users through PayPal and they've been around forever and have fairly high traffic.

Exactly. That is why the poker note being complained about its actually good for the player. It shows its not for goods or services that they could claim not actually delivered or not performed. So they can't reversed it. Its being upfront with PP about the nature of the payment. Rather than the ridiculous payment to friend or family suggested by some, where PP gets screwded.

I'd love to, but it seems I can't PM until I've posted more.

Can I respond to a PM you send me?

It has nothing to do with posting more at this point (there is a time element as well), and no, they couldn't send you PMs either.

However, I think you'll find you now have PM ability.

It's okay, I think I found your Global Poker account. We did reply to your e-mail last Sunday regarding your concern but haven't heard back from you again. We're you able to receive the last 3 e-mails we sent?
