Lol, the tech guys are the ones that would check the Apache logs to find out the issue with the PayPal connection while retaining a live one with Global. Sometimes you can clear the history with the server and get through, but it seems to be beyond that for some people.

Has anyone with PayPal deposit issue tried using a credit card?

I tried using a credit card through pay pal and I received the same HTTP 500 error.

Any idea how long it will take for Customer Service to respond to important issues such as document verification and cashouts? I've been waiting for several days now.

Main question: do you still need to send verification docs if you use PayPal? Isn't that why we use PayPal so as to keep our private info private? Thank you

The verification is to ensure that the money goes back to the correct party. It doesn't go anywhere outside of Global, so you are still safe.

Understood they want to 'ensure', but if it comes out of same paypal account ... why can't it just go back into it? they can verify the name they are sending it to is the same.... just sayin....

So far I have had a pretty good experience (running well, too), my first few cash outs went through fine. The most recent one has been a few or more days and is stuck in pending, and haven't gotten email responses. I have also sent a PM to the admin on here. I am probably just being paranoid, the fact that a rep is responding in this thread is a good sign!

I will try to remain patient over the weekend....

You may PM me your screen name or email address registered with GP so we can check if we have received your documents. Is the Admin account still active? That's the one I PM'd to about the 1000 flops counter resetting after 1 day and losing 500+ hands I'd played towards it. That was the account that said send him my SN and he'd compensate me but has never replied to that PM.

I have sent global 4 emails since Mar 20 and also no email from Global requesting docs during cashout request. Not sure if you can PM me here first? and then I can reply or not... Thank you

I initiated a cashout and received the email asking for id verification. I sent a reply to that email and am wondering if that will suffice and can i expect confirmation of the id verification?

I still can not deposit using paypal. I still receive the http 500 no authorized user error. I do not think they will ever get that fixed. It is a good site and open to US players, but oh well, that is how it goes.

Update on my situation, my cash out was finally approved after I sent another separate email this morning. Should hit PayPal tmrw.

Two nights I didn't get my rebuy in the big stack tourney. Both times before the second break. If I knew I wasn't​ getting it I would've played differently. Needs to be fixed.

Omaha hi lo tourneys and cash would be a smart move. It's probably the second or third most popular poker variant currently increasing in popularity.
