Cash Table Error Cash Table Error

03-24-2017 , 07:19 PM
One of the Cash tables I was just playing at was acting very strange. Dealing River card when the hand was over.

I was also in a hand where it showed me that everyone folded to one of my raises but somehow I had a bet in front of me. It Looked like it was me in a hand vs. Myself. I shove on myself and somehow I lost the pot but yet the table didn't show the money being awarded to anyone nor did it show a hand that could beat mine.

I checked hand history and found what looks to be the hand but the description isn't in line with how play went at the table.

It is likely that the hand history stored is correct but the table was showing something different. At least that is my guess.

I emailed support not that long ago. I am sure they will short it out and give me a response.

Hunington Beach was the name of the table. So I would at least stay away from that table for the time being. The other tables I checked seemed to be working correctly.

Just a heads up to those playing today ... The cash tables are glitching.

Hi Got To Winn, thanks for raising your concern. Are you still encountering problems in our site because upon checking, our poker team is continuously monitoring the servers and so far, there is no known issue found on our end. What I'm thinking right now is the possibility that there was an intermittent connection during that hand that resulted for that difficulty. Also, I checked our emails for other players who might have experienced the same thing but there was only one and I'm assuming it was your email which was already handled by one of our customer service representative.

I had a weird glitch at a cash game table a couple days ago. We were playing 3 handed, I folded on the button (yes I'm a nit lol), the SB raised and the BB called. I then got action buttons to fold, call, or reraise even though I didn't have cards. The flop came out and the other 2 players continued on all the while I had the action buttons. I didn't report it because it seemed to just be a display glitch (the game action didn't wait for me to act) and it was a one off. I clicked fold mid hand and the action buttons went away for good. No harm it was just very weird.

It wasn't on my end. Everyone at the table experienced it. And it was isolated to that one table from what I could tell. Everyone at the table was talking about the issues in chat while they were happening. We all left the table due to the issues. Check the chat logs.

Your support has emailed me and is saying the same thing you currently are but you both are incorrect. The table showed everyone as folded and it looked like I was in a hand by myself. Which I somehow lost. No other hand was shown that was better then mine. Actually no other hand was shown at all because the table was showing that I was the only one in the hand.

The river card also got dealt when it shouldn't have during another hand at the table.

What I believe happened was .... the hand history is correct but there was some sort of glitch or error on Global Pokers end that caused the table to display incorrectly. It was not on my end. Everyone at the table experienced the same thing. I confirmed this by talking to one of them at another table directly after I lost a pot to no-one ( according to the table display ).

Something isn't working correctly on GP end. It happened again today. This time I limp ... table shows everyone as folded but I have raise in front of me ... I call the raise and hit trips.

Then the flop .. turn and river get dealt with no more options for action. The table showed everyone as folded just like it did in the previous hand I mentioned.

I was playing another table on Global Poker and the exact same time and that table was running correctly.

Are you still looking into what is causing this ? It is not on the users end.

Edit: A player was just in chat talking about the lag in the software saying they can't see the chips when he wins a pot. Below is the chat. I removed the players name.

Player: wat happened to the chip animation
Player: this software is laggy
GOT TO WIN: it messed up on me 5 minutes ago on another table
GOT TO WIN: showed everyone as folded but I had a bet in front of me
GOT TO WIN: then I called it and the community cards all got dealt with no more action
Player: weird
Player: i dont see the chips coming to me when I win
GOT TO WIN: two days ago the above happened to me also and I lost $50 bucks because of it
GOT TO WIN: I emailed support but they dont want to believe the problem is on there end
Player: that aint good, this real money play
GOT TO WIN: Exactly

Chip animation problem was at table New Haven 3:30* pm Est.

I got it thanks... They gave me the description of the hand and ask for screen shot /date / time.

Below is a copy of my response. The issue here is the first hand and trying to get global poker to acknowledge the error was on there end. So you can start the process of fixing the issue so that it won't happen again. The error was not on my end. The whole table experienced it.

Hi,

It would be impossible for me to get a screen shot of something that happened yesterday. I am not sure of the time of day this occur'd but you found the hand so you likely know the time it took place.

The issue is with the display. The table display showed no opponent. Just the pot and cards being dealt. The hand may have played out as you say but that is not what your table display shows to me the user. Which is where the problem lies.

The first hand in that thread and the one I originally messaged you about is the concerning one. Everything else in that thread is to add to the proof that the original issue was not on my end.

There is 100% something wrong with the display at your tables. I seen river cards being dealt when they shouldn't have. Been all in vs myself only to loose the pot. I have been giving an option for action ( fold / bet / raise ) when I have already folded. Others at your tables are claiming the same.

Another issue some of your users have had is the chip animation don't display correctly. To be more specific ... when they win a pot they don't see the chip animation of the pot being shifted to them.

I been playing for hours on your site daily so I likely see more of these issues then most. They don't occur all the time and are not frequent but they do occur.

The issue is not on my end. There is something wrong on your end with the display of tables.

Regards,

This just happened to me as well. Luckily I was playing small stakes at the time. I checked the hand history and my conclusion is that a new player sat down and played two hands against me and I never saw them.

First hand I potted it and the size was 1 bb bigger than usually, was multi tabling and didn't think much of it. Second hand starts the same Except I get 3 bet, I figured it was the player in the bb and my hand was strong enough to play against a blind opponent (kk) I call flop and all in on turn pot just goes away. I immediately quit the game and checked hh.

I've played the biggest cash games they offer and would be singing a different tune if this didn't happen at .25 .50

Play at your own risk

Smart move with checking HH right away. I was checking HH in the chat/dealer option and it showed the same info as the table display. Which was no-one in the hand but myself. The HH in profile shows what the HH in chat and table display missed.

Support said if it happens again try leaving the table and coming back

Sounds like they are still stuck on .... its on the users end.

I guess it is worth a shot but the whole table experienced the glitch so I doubt leaving the table and coming back will fix anything.

Leave the table and go to another is a better option.

Hi, guys! Just dropping by to let you know that our Poker team is looking on the issue. We cannot thank you enough for giving us feedback every now and then to improve the quality of the games we have on the site.

WTF is going on .. this **** just happened to me again and in even worse circumstances. This time I was heads up ( or at least I thought I was ) and I was confident I had the other player beat. So I called an all in which looked to be from the player I was heads up with.

The cards are shown and like I thought .. I had that player beat. Then the pot doesn't get pushed to me ... WTF is going on at your site. The guy heads up with me had no clue someone else was in the hand either.

Not too happy with this site .. get your **** together.

I want reimbursement for these hands. Once is a mistake and can be looked past but three times WTF. The issue should have been addressed when I first reported it instead of trying to say the problem is on the users end.

Have your phone ready, or at least take a second to get your phone and take a screenshot of what you're describing. That could help your case...

I can get players that were at the table to vouch to what happened. Getting the phone won't help. The hand would be over by the time I realize what is going on.

The guy I was heads up with was to my right and had me covered. To me it looked like every bet was coming from him. I was confident I had him beat so called what looked to be his all in. And I did have him beat like I thought. I just didn't have the "other player" beat in which I could have no way of knowing was in the hand.

I sent a picture and it didn't help my case, I just re read their email and it's pretty funny. Here's part of it.

We have checked our records and your previous hand histories and found no irregularities. It's not actually software or server issue from us, but in players internet connection side. If this happens again, we strongly suggest that you leave the table and sit in again or you may transfer to other available tables. This issue also happened in other poker site.
04-03-2017 , 06:24 PM
Here is my email to them. They better not give me the BS response of it being on my end. I will update with the reply. What ever cash I have left at the end of day likely gets cashed out if this isn't fixed to my satisfaction. It is time to start doing the min requirements and move on to another site after that. How do they expect us to sit with decent amounts of money on the site when stuff like this happens.

I am not even out that much. $55 if you count what I started with. $110 + if you count the pot in which I would have won if it was heads up. The other player in the hand with me lost 3 x as much as I did.

Hi,

This is starting to get ridiculous. Your cash tables glitched on me again costing me money. I was in what looked like a heads up hand when I call an all in with top two pair. I been playing the opponent that I was in the hand with for awhile at this table and was confident I had him beat so I called his all in.

River comes .. our cards get turned over and I have the best hand .. only problem is it doesn't get pushed towards me. Again the pot vanishes. The other player that was in the hand with me thought we were heads up also.

I want reimbursement for these hands. I reported the issue already and was left with ... its on your end not ours.

I had NO WAY of knowing another player was in this hand. The player who I thought I was heads up with had me covered. The all in bet looked like it came from him to me.

Below is the hand details. I don't want a description of how the hand played out. I can see my HH just fine. The problem is your site did not show me what HH recorded.

Panama City, 0.5/1, No Limit Texas Hold'em

Hand Started: April 3 2017 5:26 PM - Hand: eaaf75e7-b695-45e0-b092-96c8328da078

GL, and I hope they do the right thing for ya. Something has got to give here and they are nowhere to be seen on these forums.

I am starting to think this is some sort of joke on me. It happened again today. In the exact same way as the last hand.

I noticed at the end of the hand and thankfully didn't lose my full stack. It only cost me a little over $30 this time. This is the first time it happened at a PLO table.

Unreal. I am out a couple hundred dollars because of this glitch.

Still waiting on response. It hasn't even been 24 hours yet but hopefully they respond soon.

For those playing cash ... keep an eye on the pot to make sure the bets are adding up. You might be up against a "ghost".

This is a big problem ... I can't be sitting with a few hundred at your tables if this is going to be the norm.

It must be something on your end. Have other players mentioned the same problems? I've played about 10,000 hands or so and not had any display issues. Are you playing with the tables in a tab or pop-out? What browser are you using?

I know you play full ring mostly and PLO and I play neither of those but I haven't experienced these issues.

I am 100 % certain it is not on my end. I have spoke to the players involved in these hands before I sent emails to GP and created this thread. It isn't just happening to me. One other in this thread is reporting the same issues.

I play with both in and out on two different computers on Chrome and have played well over 10000 hands.

I have played a **** ton of hands on the site and haven't seen this either.

Tons of cash or tourney's ?

Next time you are at the cash tables start asking around .. you are bound to run into a few this happened to.

I talked to a few. GP can check chat logs to confirm.

I had this happen to me once, a ghost player in the pot. I couldn't figure out what was going on but saw in the log after the hand there was another player. I actually won that pot though and it never happened again so I didn't report it. The mystery action buttons I reported itt only happened once too. I have played at least 10K hands as well so yes there's a problem but for my personal experience it's been at a rare rate, nothing like what you're getting.
