So i did the account verification and am now trying to cash out on global poker but when i enter my paypal.me link it doesnt seem read it and goes red like im missing an entry or something...i dont know why everyone can at least get some response out of the withdraw but it never goes to another page after entering the amount and email.

not that I know of. I cashed out 10k last month in like 5 different withdrawals.

Approved by GP today, 8 days after my initial request. I'll post again when I receive funds.

This is my 2nd cash out. I requested withdrawal last night and within 2 hours it was approved. Within 24 hours it is now in my account. I'm very impressed.

Global Poker took all my information and than would not let me cash out something is fishy about this site i wouldn't recommend this site to anyone

Global is currently on their weekend, they are based in Australia. But with that said, I would say your experience with Global stands very isolated. Read through these pages and see the hundreds of people who are able to see money come in from Global. All the same, but your username up here, and Sunday night or so I would expect to hear from the Global reps, which is their Monday morning.

Hate that this is my first post -- long term observer of the forums, just never the post type of guy. But wanted to post here because wasn't sure where else I could get advice.

I just signed up yesterday for Global Poker and was able to run the account up nicely.

I successfully withdrew $5000 to my PayPal account. Honestly, I never use PayPal -- I previously had a credit card on file and use it ~2-3 times a year prior to this. So I add my bank account details to the account and get it verified earlier today. Anyhoo, the $5000 comes through tonight and I attempt to withdrawal $4995 to my checking account.

But I get a notice -- "your transfer is delayed, due to security concerns". Has anyone experienced this? I guess I should have thought about this prior and withdrew small amounts...but I have had 5 Caipirinha's and wasn't thinking clearly.

What now? If they ask for info -- can I tell them it came from Global (it currently says "VGW Holdings")? Will PayPal lock my account -- if so, then how do I get the money -- and the rest of the money I have on GP?

If the money is in PayPal, make sure it is actually in your PayPal account to be transferred. PayPal likes to do funny games where you have the money but they place it on hold and you can't use it until a certain period of time. Contact PayPal to find out the length. It varies based on your account history and amount.

Just cashed out for $110. Let's see if this one is as quick as my last (~12 hours).

The money is definitely in pay pal -- transfer from GP to PP went through seamlessly.

So the money is in my "wallet" - which has been updated to a $5 balance (and it separately reads pending transfer for $4995).

I was curious if you think it would be ok to divulge to PayPal that the money came from either (1) GP; (2) a sweepstakes contest. They obviously can already see the sender as VGW Holdings -- so a quick google search would reveal what they do.

I wouldn't worry about them asking where the money is coming from. PayPal knows whats up and they see money coming in and out from VGW all the time. But again, even calling them may not get the funds released sooner. PayPal is just like that with larger sums than you would expect to spend on eBay (where they came from if you remember that long internet history ago).

So with all of that said, I would not hesitate in talking to them about when they think the funds will be released, and likely they will tell you look at the website date, and that is what they will go with. I wouldn't worry too much about explaining where the money came from. If it comes up, I would for sure say you won it with a sweepstakes, and let it go from there. Because the truth of it is, from PayPal's and the legal perspective, that is exactly what happened.

Hey Kimber. Are there going to be any rakeback programs? Some regs put in a lot of hours on this site. Certainly a draw to keep regs playing.

There is no rakeback planned at the moment.

(FYI - this is probably not the right thread for this and it has been discussed in other threads. If anyone wants to continue this conversation please do it there and leave this thread for cash outs)
