Man, I have to say, the questions you seem to be asking a lot indicate your head is not in the right place, regarding poker. You seem obsessed with luck, randomness, cheating, etc in a way that I think is not useful or helpful.

If we say a "heater" is some value X of good-luckness, it has exactly the same chance of happening as X amount of bad-luckness. But often it doesn't seem that way because we attribute bad-luckness to situations that really should be measured in units of you-suck-at-pokerness. And we attribute good-luckness to I-has-the-skilzz. Last edited by NewOldGuy; 07-16-2012 at 03:01 PM.

Maybe winning 10 Big Bets in 6 hours is "hot" to some people, maybe it's 100. The guy who thinks winning 10 Big Bets in 6 hours is "hot" would have a lot more "heaters" than the 100 Big Bet guy assuming they were the same skill level.

But the way you've phrased this question and your others reveals that you don't really even know how probability works. Your questions are all these squishy feely things that can't actually be answered without huge amounts of qualification.
