I'm wondering about how a ring game where hands are folded to the button or the blinds compares with a pure 3 handed or heads-up game.
If, for example,
1) the folding players only ever play the top 25% of hands,
2) the top 25% of hands are more likely to have high cards in them than a random hand,
3) when the action reaches the button or the blinds does this indicate that the hands there are more likely to contain high cards than in a pure 3 or 2 person game?
And if the aceiness or kinginess etc. of the remaining hands is likely to be higher, is this going to skew calculations far from the pure games?
If this is covered somewhere please redirect this post, and any thoughts or resources on the topic would be appreciated!
