I learned a lot.
So you're not going to take me up on my offer? I am really giving you a good deal here.

I am assuming that the effect you mention is relatively small, so it won't give you an *overwhelming* edge on a single trial. So I am willing to help you out here! We can do as many trials as you want, so that the effect will be very easy to quantify.

This will be great for you! You'll get all the dollars, plus I'll have to admit you were right and a known skeptic on your side, plus winning this wager, will definitely help the sales of your book.

I'm not a rich man but if $10k isn't enough, I can probably get some people together and do more. Or maybe we can interest the James Randi people or something.

Re: "Random distribution"

You're not interested in $10k? I am starting to suspect that the strength of your beliefs in astrology influencing random events is not as solid as you have been representing in this thread and presumably your book!

I don't think he's worried about a piddling $10k.

Yeah but even if he is right his 100k investment won't net him 10k

Re: "Random distribution"

He was not right here so I assume he will just be posting on the other forums where he said he would take the opposite positions on the June 27th markets based on the stars and moon etc.

The moon and mars in Virgo obviously affected the justices.

Yet presumably they decided this opinion weeks ago in a different configuration of the heavens. OP obviously analysed how they would have acted back then.

otatop's partial quote led me to the wrong date. Was not his or my fault, the stars forced that outcome.

Re: "Random distribution"

Should we cash out with a $3700 profit before it closes? It could gap down at the open tomorrow. The moon will enter Libra overnight.

Already going down. Glad I cashed out when I did and made $3700 instead of only $2200.

The powers of the heavens are revealed in mysterious ways and are not appreciated by untrained and casual observers.
