The chance for 3 5 (or any specific non-pair hand) is 8/52*4/51=1.207%.The probability of at least 48 occurrences in 2000 hands is given by the binomial distribution and will happen about once every 95,000 sets of 2000 hands. While not impossible, perhaps you are mistaken about how often it happened. Did you actually count the number of 3 5’s you got?
If you actually got the hand about 36 times, the probability of this happening is a bit more than 1%, so accuracy of count is important provided knowing the answer is important
