For real. Live poker is way more rigged than any online site. Especially if they're using the auto-shufflers. As an electrical engineer I can tell you that I personally could build a card shuffler that would rig the deck any way you wanted.

That is why I only play in poker rooms where they are hand shuffled. I mean, no one can rig a deck when they shuffle it by hand. It is impossible.

Re: Is PokerStars rigged?

ive seen enough of PS to know something isnt right. There is just too many strange things too often. I agree strange things happen but its just too frequent on pokerstars.

recently ive had 2 downswings with the following stats on pokerstars
AA,KK,QQ - lost 8 times in a row
Kings - the last 3 times ive had kings ive been beaten by aces - thats a probablity of 1 in 8000

Shout me down all you want, call me a rigtard, do what ever your paymasters want you to do. I know when i see something dodgy.

No I do not know. But maybe there are some bright mathematics minds here in the probability forum that would like to discuss this or rather crunch some numbers

I'm not quite convinced. My first poker hand in a German casino was a royal flush. How can this happen? Was it luck or skill?

Re: Is PokerStars rigged?

Everyone can see that pokerstars manipulates boards to create big pots. They don't care who wins/loses as long the pots are big. When you play, try to figure out what turn and river cards will create the action and you are able to read the next cards.

Perhaps you aren't aware that having big pots decreases overall rake to the poker site.

Re: Is PokerStars rigged?

The guy thinks there is a way of figuring out the turn and river cards, yet despite this (if true) being easily exploitable for millions I suspect he has made about $0 at most from this ability.

One wonders how much the Vegas casinos have made from similar donks who "see" the roulette patterns.

The Federal government forced Pokerstars out. On what is known amongst online poker players as "Black Friday," the US department of justice seized the website www.pokerstars.com and, as far as I know, no US player has been allowed to play on Pokerstars since (save some creative IP address changing methods or moving to another country). Some time later Pokerstars returned all money owed to US players by forcing players, on their next login, to cash out.

So there is a sense in which they "opted out," but I lean more towards they were banished. However, it is quite clear from the department of justice that they were banished for fraudulent reasons related to the way they handled money, not for the way they dealt cards.

Also, I am pretty sure McSeasfield is joking around.

So this being said, is there potential that money deposited isn't secure and PS may be operating in a similar fashion as FT was?
