I'm trying to learn how to do the math on some OFC late game scenarios. As an example, let's say it's the fourth round and we have one draw to come. That means we get three cards in our hand and have seen either 11 or 13 of our opponent's cards (depending on our position) and 13 of our own cards (11 board and 2 discard). Now let's say I have 789 on the bottom and want to figure out how often I make two pair or better.

After all that I get lost and start feeling overwhelmed. We can hit 78,79, or 89 for two pair; we can hit 77, 88, or 99 for a set; we can hit 56, 6T, or TJ for a straight. I don't expect you guys to do the whole thing for me but any help on how to combine this all would really help me work with this kind of stuff on my own. Thanks!

Ok, Im gonna look at this today if I get time. I think OFC can be used to simplify the multi street decisions you will see in Omaha once you hit the flop or vs x% range preflop.

I was at Joe Cada's house last year and he was playing it a lil..I think its a fun game, but I think if you get really good at discounting your odds...it can also possibly help you be quicker with deciding your bluff ratios in the moment.

For instance, in the Applications of NL book, to execute the river bluffs, theyre always working backwards. It is never a case of oh the river hits lets throw a strat at it...it is more like I will bet here x% here and here to justify my river bet% here.
